Mountainside Apartment with views over Morzine

The apartment is very well appointed, particularly the kitchen. It is possible to cook a meal and there is enough space to relax for a family of 3 or 4. We also loved the outside space, a small table with BBQ perfect during the summer to have dinner and a glass of wine enjoying nighttime views of Morzine below. Private parking and use of a garage for storing bikes and other gear is a definite plus.

Nothing in particular. For some the location may be a touch too far from the main village. 15-20 min walk or 10 min bike ride (uphill on return). For us this is a plus as we prefer a quieter place and we enjoy walking rather than driving when on holiday.

As a family of four mountain bikers - with two teenage boys - this was a great place for us to stay. The apartment, though quite small and basic, had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable with great views over Morzine when sitting outside (note, the apartment is on the ground floor and you don't have access to the upstairs balcony). Carrie, the owner, was super helpful and always quick to respond to any queries or requests. NB. This is a great place to stay if you are mountain bikers! The apartment has a large secure double garage where you can store your bikes and use as a workshop. Also, at the end of the day, you don't have to queue for the Super Morzine gondola back into Morzine, you just freewheel down the road to the apartment!

The 20min walk into the centre of Morzine is along the road, it's a shame there isn't a path (obviously not the owners fault!).
