One of the best values in Albania. In the center near restaurants and cafes but also extremely quiet. Great bed, large room and lovely balcony. Best of all is the owner. I got lost while looking for the hotel and the owner came and got me. Then, when a road and bridge gave out on the way to my next destination he did everything he could to make sure I found a way there. Way, way beyond anything I would expect. The town of Librazhd is also definitely worth a night or two if you are interested in a slice of real Albania, and an amazing host.

Generally this is a great little find for a backpacker or bike packer couple like ourselves, it’s near the main street and the town centre is easily accessible without spending too much money for your stay. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioning is capable of keeping the small space relatively warm.

It is wrongly advertised, if the advertisement was true to what it is, a shed built on top of a car wash with a bathroom built underneath it accessible via an outside door that is located beneath the very steep stairs to the front door, then we would have still booked and enjoyed our stay. As it is there are several amenities that don’t exist that are advertised as follows: - TV - there is none - High Speed Internet - this in particular is advertised as an add on you can pay for, don’t bother as it doesn’t exist. There is free (slow) WiFi available at the basic price and that’s it. - Family rooms - this is one room with a double and single bed, there are no other facilities. This might work for a small family but keep in mind the steep stairs to the (unheated) bathroom and as a young woman I felt quite uncomfortable on occasion going outside for the bathroom late at night as well.
