You get what you pay for (in Switzerland terms); a decent stay.

The apartment is charming – it's in an older building, but that actually adds to the atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we especially liked the retro-style bathroom.

On the downside, the spice jars were empty, and cleanliness could be improved – some greasy dishes, dust on the floor and the towels had a musty smell.

Spacious old apartment

The apartment is old but spacious. Being in a small village, there are basic services (shop and a couple of restaurants). The local host arranged us the Glarus area public transport ticket included in the tourist tax, also with the possibility to use the Braunwald train.

Ventilation was through windows, no mosquito nets so needed to sleep with a few flies. The pre accommodation communication was in Spanish and CHF cash on arrival was the only option to pay the tourist tax.

Dirty apartment full of spiders and spider webs

Location, apartment in a quiet area overlooking the mountains, a few minutes from the funicular and the cable car and spectacular waterfalls.

Daniel accused me of stealing 3 forks, which I absolutely didn’t do, and his answer was that he trusts what the cleaning girl says and not what I say. He threatened me that he would report me to Booking. Dirty apartment, full of cobwebs and spiders in the corners and on the ceiling. The shower is full of limescale and with mold on the edges.

Une nuit au calme total dans un village dépaysant

l'accueil avec le sourire, les explications et les efforts pour nous parler en anglais. La simplicité du logement, facile à trouver et peu cher pour la Suisse.

J'aurais préféré une boite à clefs pour l'arrivée car nous avons du écourter notre randonnée pour être à temps pour chercher les clefs, mais c'est le seul point "négatif"

Die Ferienwohnung ist schon recht alt und hat so ihre Macken. Trotzdem war es für mich vollkommen ok

Ich hatte einen eigenen Eingang, was für mich mit meinen 2 Hunden super war. Auch war die Möglichkeit für eine kurze Gassirunde in der Nähe gegeben. Der Empfang durch Frau Büchi war überaus freundlich.

Das Bett war sehr komfortabel, die Wohnung im Winter schön warm, sehr sauber, alles da, was wir gebraucht haben, die Lage super, die Kommunikation angenehm. Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt und würden gerne wiederkommen!
