Ferienwohnung Drachennest mit Sonnenterrasse

La casa è piccola ma confortevole, ben arredata e con tutto il necessario. Si trova in una zona un pò periferica, immersa nel verde a 10 minuti di macchina dal centro città, comodissima per escursioni in quanto dà facile accesso ad autostrada e statali. I gestori sono molto cordiali e amichevoli. La consiglierei sicuramente per lunghi periodi se si è in cerca di un posto tranquillo e rilassante.

Il letto forse è la parte più debole, cigolava da un lato, uno dei due materassi affondava e il cuscino è la cosa più scomoda che abbia mai visto, se viaggiate in macchina considerate di portare il vostro da casa :) Il frigo quando attacca fa un bel pò di rumore ed essendo un ambiente unico può disturbare il sonno.

Sadly didn't get much sleep as bed and pillows especially were too soft.

This is the basement floor of the owner's house. It is a studio of about 25 square meters and the windows are quite large. Great kitchen where everything is available, a coffee machine, coffee pods. There are many pleasant little details a table outside, candles, small music speakers, a rocking chair. Large bathroom with good plumbing fixtures. Wonderful surroundings of a peaceful village, a sea of greenery.

Two problems - 1. The mattresses on the bed are terrible. I have never complained about beds before, but it's impossible to sleep on these, it's easier to sleep on the floor. These are two single mattresses on a double bed. One is convex, you sleep on a ball, the other is sunken in the opposite way. 2. The host, his manner of communication and attitude. There was a wasp nest at the entrance, we were stung by wasps while we were carrying in our things. When we asked for help to remove it, we were told, and I quote, "no need to be afraid of 3 wasps! but we will remove it of course." They only removed it the next day. He responds to questions slowly, you can only communicate through Booking chat or by email. I have traveled to more than 70 countries and stayed in a thousand places. This host is one of the most inhospitable and rude that I have encountered. We booked this place by accident, mixing up the city. We noticed it right away and called the host that same minute asking for a free cancellation. We were refused and lectured about how to live our lives. No one is obligated to cancel for free, but responding politely to a polite request shouldn't be that hard, right? There are many mentions of mattresses in the reviews, was it really so difficult to replace them? Given the cost of accommodation, it would have paid for itself in 2 nights, but the owner apparently doesn't care.
