Alright for a short stay but could be improved

+ Good location + Nice bathroom with hot water + Friendly staff

- Tiny room, very little space for luggage etc - Beds were not very comfortable (very hard mattress) and shaky / squeaky - no place to chill unfortunately, just some tables which were part of the restaurant

It was a good place to stay right next to the Tsunami Museum. The Burmese Food there was great.

There was no breakfast offered, just hot water with coffee or tea bags

This is not a hostel.

This is not really a hostel in the traditional sense. It is a restaurant that has converted the upper floor into a dormitory, with 6 beds and a shared bathroom. During my stay, the space felt quite personal (personal items left around the sink), which gave the impression that cleanliness could be improved. Housekeeping and trash management could be better. The bedding includes a rather thin blanket, which was not sufficient for me, especially with the air conditioning on. I also did not have hot water during my stay. There is no water dispenser to refill bottles, nor a key or lock system. This place may suit some low-maintenance travelers or short stays, but if you are looking for a hostel with standard services, you may want to choose a nearby establishment instead. In my opinion, the value for money is high for what is offered.

Incredible place for the price and very nice family.

Very nice place and very clean. I came to surf for three days and the location is very good. Markets and 7/11 directly around the corner. Taxi to go to the surf beach too.

Value for money

Very quiet location, feels like you're living in someone's home. Only four beds in the dorm with private bathroom and tiny balcony where you can dry your clothes. Walkable distance to the pharmacy, 7-eleven and restaurants. Slightly further from the beach but still walkable. Scooter rental almost across the street.

The bed is on the very hard side. So if you have a problem with your back it won't be for you. If you are used to camping and sleeping on the ground, you'll have a good sleep as I had.

We miss it!

The bunk beds were good quality for the money, location lovely, family wonderful. If you stay here you HAVE to try the food, it was the best we had eaten so far in Thailand and we couldn’t leave it alone. I miss it :,)

Dortoir beaucoup trop cher pour un matelas dur comme de la pierre (et je pèse mes mots), pas de rideau et une salle de bain dans le dortoir. Sans parler du mini plaid pour enfant en guise de couverture.

Einfach aber gut

Super freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Der Schlafsaal und die Sanitäranlagen waren einfach aber wirklich sauber. Mit gleichem Namen ist unten im Haus ein Lokal das burmesiches Essen anbietet, auch die veganen Gerichte waren extrem lecker.
