Boat Hotel Sofia

Thevstaff were very friendly and helpful. The outlook from my room was excellent. The en suite bathroom was comfortable and functional. It was fun staying in a hotel with a difference. The Roman fort and Transport museum were both within easy walking distance, and very enjoyable visits. I enjoyed walking along the river bank in the evening. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ruse.

Not a problem for me, but the drawbridge giving access to the boat was very steep, so could be a problem for people with mobility issues. I was not sure wheather the swimming pool was open for swimming or what times it was open. This information could have been given at check in.

It was a unique experience... staying on the Danube ! Very spacious cabin, with two well arranged bathrooms Enough storage space. Two large windows on the river and you can enjoy the view right from your bed, You can have a pleasant stroll in the evening along the riverside promenade to have a more complete view of the river. Everything was perfect for a very reasonable price. Crazy fish restaurant on the upper deck serves excellent Danube fish and wine, you can enjoy your dinner while watching sunset on the river. Breakfast was good too, and quite filling.Nikolai and his team are perfect hosts. Will certainly stay here if we go back to Ruse,

An electric kettle with cups for tea/coffee and glasses for drinking water would have made our experience more enjoyable.

Fenster meiner Kabine von außen sehr dreckig- beeinträchtigt die Sicht auf den Fluss erheblich, kein echtes Frühstück verfügbar- nur Eierspeisen, Restaurantpersonal definitiv nicht vom Fach.
