    Booked 4 rooms here. Travelled with my grandson who is 2+. He was at the pool at this property and suddenly a large snake appeared from no where! The staffs at the property told us not to be afraid. It's normal. This freaked us out. Out of the 4 rooms the air- conditioning, only worked in one room. Changed rooms but still same problem. Talked to the owner of the property and asked him to refund us one night's day as we couldn't stay for the second night with this kind of inconvenience. Thankfully he agreed to refund and we stayed elsewhere for the 2nd night. We really hope they maintain this beautiful property well.

    Wonderful staff tried their best to make our stay comfortable. But there were a lot of basic issues which need immediate rectification 1. No glasses in the room 2. No coffee pouches, no dairy creamer or whitener with Tea kettle 3. Getting housekeeping help is a challenge - no intercom, no housekeeping Bell. Bathroom door mat was stinking 4. Bathroom has a glass door - ridiculous for a family accomodation 5. No exhaust fans in the bathroom. Opening the ventilation is open invitation to flies and mosquitoes 5. No sofa or chairs in the room. 6. Understaffed place. The manager is the chef. Took a looooong time to get the breakfast ready. Well made and well presented 7. No fly/ insect catcher For the price charged, these are table stakes

    Amazing hospitality and service. The staff was very helpful and went out of the way to help us. If you are in Mirissa, go for this property without thinking twice. I would love to visit again for sure. Home away from home.

    ThiThi's Palace is one of the more expensive hotels in Mirissa but I wouldn't say the best. You certainly pay a bit more in comparison but the rooms are pretty basic (I stayed in the superior king room), the bathroom is nice with hot water and decent water pressure as well. The smart TV is an added bonus too. The pool is smaller in person than it looks to be in the photos. The major downside I found was not being able to walk into the main area for restaurants etc so had to rely on Tuktuks often vs my previous accommodation.
