Welcome to The Bodensee—Nestled on a secluded, private lane with serene views of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge marshlands. This hidden gem is your perfect escape for a memorable Maine vacation!
This spacious two-bedroom, three-bathroom home is just 300 steps (or 0.03 miles) from Public Access Way #1 of Moody Beach, offering easy access to the sandy shores and refreshing waters of the Atlantic Ocean. North Ogunquit Beach is a twelve minute walk or you can drive and conveniently drop off your beach gear and family.
As you enter The Bodensee, you’re welcomed by a bright sunroom, perfect for morning coffee with peaceful marsh views. Adjoining the sunroom is a beach storage area complete with chairs, a wagon for easy transport, a washer/dryer for convenience as well as yard games. You can also wash off from the beach in one of the showers which is located in the laundry room.
The main level boasts an open-concept layout with a spacious dining area, kitchen island, and cozy living space. A twin bedroom on this floor includes two twin beds (which can be converted to a King upon request) and a full bathroom for added convenience.
The King Primary Bedroom awaits with beautiful marsh views and an en-suite bathroom, providing a private oasis for relaxation.
Outside you can enjoy the firepit or the patio with ample yard space for games, all while taking in the coastal breeze.

This our third year staying at the Bodensee and we love it. It’s a great location- on a quiet street with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house is always clean and comfortable. It’s the perfect spot for our family to stay at Moody Beach.

We fell in love with this Maine house! Perfect distance to the beach, and everything you’d possibly need is included. Home is very well kept and clean. We used the fire pit every night to make smores. We truly felt like we were on vacation and look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I just completed our third year staying at Seaside Serenity/Bodensee in Wells. This truly beautiful home is furnished to vacation perfection ! On a scale of 1-10, the cleanliness of this house is a 20. The location provides very unique access to Ogunquit, Wells and Kennebunkport. If you love the Ogunquit summers and beach as much as we do, Bodensee really is your "perfect summer place" !!!

The house was adorable! We used the outside porch and patio every day. Perfect size for the 5 of us. Location was perfect. We walked to the beach at night and just a short drive to the paid parking for the daytime. Centrally located in between all our favorite restaurants and shoppes. Thank u so much for letting us stay in your home! We will definitely keep u on our list for future vacation stays.
