Casa Rosada is a vibe!
Located on Neptune Avenue, this charming pink bungalow lies less than a block from Stone Steps Beach and 3.5 blocks from Moonlight Beach. Located on the best block in all of Encinitas, you will enjoy a very local, peaceful, and funky Leucadia.
This single story home has three bedrooms, including a king, two queens, and two twin beds. The home is super clean and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you need for a family trip to San Diego area.
Spend quiet mornings in the private front patio surrounded by palm trees and cacti. Perfect Southern California living; there are two outdoor sofas, dining table with umbrella, and a gas fireplace; all with market lighting overhead.
Casa Rosada also has a warm outdoor shower, surfboard racks, and a plethora of sand toys, including boogie boards, beach umbrella and beach chairs for guests. Brand new washer and dryer are located in the garage.
BEDROOMS:
Bedroom 1 (King) - high quality mattress and linens provided. Feather duvets and a multitude of pillows in all rooms.
Bedroom 2 (Queen).
Bedroom 3 (2 Twin beds).
BATHS:
Bath 1 - Newly renovated with a single vanity with a tub and shower combo.
KITCHEN
Well stocked with all you need to cook. Gas oven, gas range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker (beans provided), toaster, cooking oil etc.
OUTDOOR - Casa Rosada's front yard is the perfect place to enjoy Cali's outdoor lifestyle. Two sofas, a fireplace and a dining table with umbrella - the front yard is designed to be an extension of your living space. All guests love this space. The side yard is where you will find the hot outdoor shower which is a lovely way to rinse all the sand and salt from your body after a surf.
BEACHES
The closest beach is Stone Steps. Stone Steps is far more private than Moonlight and is less than a 2 min walk from the house. Great for a beach day, surfing, boogie boarding or just to check the surf or watch sunsets with the neighbourhood.
Moonlight is also very close and is consistently voted "Best Family Beach" in San Diego. Moonlight has a fabulous park for kids, beach volleyball courts, fire pits, concession stand, gear rentals, restrooms and showers etc. Beacons is north of Stone Steps and is a 15-20 min walk on the beach or on Neptune Avenue. This is a busy walking route for locals on skate boards, bikes, scooter, roller skates etc. Beacons is by far the most picturesque beach in the area and is great for intermediate surfing.
THE SURROUNDING AREA
Leucadia, Encinitas is the funkiest neighbourhood around. Being north of Moonlight is where it's at. There are a plethora of great restaurants, coffee shops, brew pubs, shopping, art galleries, yoga studios, groceries and day spas. Everything is walkable and there is a possibility of never needing to get in your car. Just ask us for recommendations and we are happy to provide our list.

We had a fabulous time at the Casa Rosada! It's equipped with everything you could possibly need! We spent several days at Stonesteps beach, the house offers chairs, towels, umbrella, and beach toys for the kiddos. We also loved spending time on the patio, eating outdoors and sitting by the fire pit. The bedrooms are well decorated with comfy beds and linens. The location is perfect! You can walk to Stonesteps Beach, Moonlight Beach, downtown Encinitas, and the shops and restaurants in Leucadia. We will definitely return in the future!

The Pink Palace is ideally located for anyone who wants to experience a local’s vibe in Encinitas. We especially loved the front porch/patio/yard area. We had an issue with heating (we were likely the first to stay after the fall weather turned cold), but the host responded right away.
