This newly remodeled home is close to the beach, dining and nightlife. It is very clean, private and has everything you need for your beach vacation. The garage stores all the beach gear you need to become one of the locals.

This was our 3rd time staying at this property. It suits our family: Walkable to the beach, park that allows dog off leash during certain hours close by, walking distance to town and enough bedrooms for all.

This home was "home base" for our family of 9. Two grand-parents, four adult children, and three grand-children. One set of parents were with their 7 year old in the very large master, the grand-parents had the other upstairs room with the in-suite shower, and the third set of parents had a room with their young daughters sharing the fourth upstairs room. We chose to not use the bottom bedroom. The large family room and dining room tended to be where everyone hung out to play cards, read books, work on bead projects, etc. We had a great time walking to the nearby park, walking to Lofty Coffee every morning, carrying beach supplies to Moonlight Beach several times, visiting the San Diego Botanical Gardens (Encinitas), and even attended the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar. The driveway was a bit tricky at times with three vehicles, but we worked it out. It was definitely an easy home to keep track of our items with just the right amount of decor. Enjoy!

House was beautiful and a great size to accommodate the entire family. The backyard patio and outdoor area was especially nice. It was within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, and shops. It really worked for our family reunion and we would rent it again. Just a note on a couple of downsides - one was the narrow road/driveway leading up to home. There is another unit next door. While there is plenty of garage and driveway parking for our unit the one next door has one space that, when filled, can effectively block access from getting into or out of our area. We had to ask neighbors to move their large van on several occasions. Also the road leading to the house is very busy. At times the traffic was so heavy it was hard to get out on the road. The road isn’t anything the owner can do anything about.
