Fantastic stay at this property which was a great based for us. Very safe area and had lots of fun in the snow. Although

We chose this property due to its location out of the city so that it might be quiet which was definitely the case. The property was clean and warm with all the facilities you could need. The host was very helpful with any questions and suggestions about local events and locations. It was beautifully snowy whilst we were there and the property is just a 5-10 minute walk from the river which was frozen. We walked around the forest and river a few times but then were mainly driving. You need a car for this property.

House is comfy, kitchen, bed etc good quality. Owner is very communicative and was available for all our questions!

Booking.com photos tell a slightly different story than reality. Not as homey as it makes you believe. As an example, we never saw a dog and the cottage photo with all the lights (the 2nd and 3rd photo) is not actually the place where you sleep. Although it states that the bathtub and sauna come with an additional charge it doesn't feel completely honest to charge more than €200 for them per use. The price should be visible in apartment description.

Just Epic!

The house was warm and cosy, the added option of a sauna and hot tub next to the house was great. the location, just out of the town, made it great for shopping, but also gave the feel out quiet lifestyle of the area. The host Marko was outstanding, giving local ideas to visit and local history of the area and country.

Nothing, this was bar none the best host I have stayed with, he would put us above his family to make sure we had a great time and a complete Finnish experience.

Description of apartment says, that whole 645 square meters will be rented out. Well - I didn't noticed that, sadly. So description needs to be changed to meet expectations. And car is a must if you want to travel around Rovaniemie. Idea for owner - payable "taxi" or "guide" service to provide even more comfort ;))

Great location but rented car is a necessity, comfortable, well equipped, Marko is great, extremely helpful and very friendly. Made our stay unforgettable, amazing snowmobile trip, private Santa visit was amazing surprise for our kids and us.

Convenient location with lots of snow fun for the kids!

The location was really handy for everything we wanted to do. It was also close to a beautiful frozen river that felt really quiet! Such a good balance. The accommodation was very clean and cosy too! It was lovely to have a fire for the evenings.

They stairs in the accommodation were very steep which was fine for the adults but they were a bit trickier for our toddler. The beds were flexible so we just adjusted who slept upstairs.

Exceptional

The location of the house was perfect, not too far from the city but not too close either , so the place was very quite. Very clean and comfy, i think the nicest little house we ever stayed in. The owner, Marco, was very friendly and he helped with lots of nice sugestions regarding what we can do to enjoy Lapland at its maximum. The best thing of our vacation was the ride with the snowmobiles, trip organized by Marco. He took us to a place where he build fire and we had some sausages we cooked on our own and enjoyed a hot, traditional coffee in a place where we enjoyed the view of the city at sunset. In a few words , the vacation was a very nice one, but Marco and his wife made it perfect! P.S. they have Aatu, the friendliest giant dog ever 😍

Ciepły, przytulny apartament poza miastem, idealny do oglądania zorzy.

Nieduży ale komfortowy domek idealny dla 4-6 osób. Ciepły i przytulny, szczególnie przy 30-sto stopniowych mrozach. Ogrzewana podłoga robiła świetną robotę. Dzieci (4,6 lat) z radością korzystały z zastanych w apartamencie zabawek, i "zaczytywały się" w fińskich komiksach ;-). Przed domem górka i dostępne sanki. Mieliśmy idealne warunki pogodowe do oglądania zorzy, a że domek usytuowany jest poza miastem, widoki były spektakularne. Marko, świetny gospodarz, pomagał we wszystkim, korzystaliśmy z jego 7-osobowego samochodu, który może nie jest najnowszy ale dzielnie odpalał w ekstremalnie niskich temperaturach. Polecam.

Super Lage - spitzen Gastgeber! Marko hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt, als auch zurückgefahren. Sein Haus liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt am Fluss. Für all diejenigen die es ruhiger haben wollen einfach perfekt. Uns hat es an nix gefehlt. Markos Skidoo Safari ist einfach genial und hat der ganzen Familie super viel Spaß gemacht.
