Freezing cold , ruined our plans , mood and health

The apartment was freezing and the heating did not work, even though it was −4°C outside. The person who came to adjust the thermostat said the flat would never get properly warm as it is too big without proper radiators. Only plug-in heaters were provided and the fuse was dropping every 2 minutes, so we had no stable heat or power into the bedrooms sockets overnight, had left my phone on charge, but did not charged We couldn’t sleep or shower, later became ill and hadn't been able to go to work as had fever all of us. The stay completely ruined our city break. I would not recommend this property.

The location was suitable

The hotel was really poor in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. The spoons and plates were dirty, and the bedsheet and pillows had a musty smell.

Comfortable, quiet, clean, convenient and great value.

From start to finish the whole process was easy. The communication was great and there was someone on hand to answer any questions we had about access/timings/parking etc. The property was ideal. Just off the motorway, but quiet. Easy to find. Easy to access. Plenty of safe parking. The room was wonderful. Spacious, clean, comfortable. The view as fantastic. We were on the top floor. Perfect base to get in and out of Birmingham City Centre. We all loved it.

It was easy to access, free parking was a great bonus and there was plenty of space, the place was so tidy and neat and had everything we needed (TV, clean crockery, plenty of pillows and towels , comfortable beds, extra bedding for sofa bed). Thank you to our brilliant host who communicated the whole way through from booking to check out. Flawless stay.

Okay for a short stay close to the M5

Quick trip for work and location just off the motorway was convenient for me. I realize that the facilities are great but didn’t get to use them as I checked in late and had to leave early. The flat had pretty much everything I needed.

The amount of messages to arrange this quick stay were excessive and I did share this with the staff when they asked for feedback. At least 10 messages pre check-in and more messages for checkout -long after I had left. Sorry but that didn’t feel professional and it affected my stay negatively.

Everything was brilliant clean the location was great for where we needed to be. The beds were soft shower nice and clean and warm water Wi-Fi was good access to the building was easy or information provided was easy to understand. Deposit return was quick.

Central location, smart apartments with all you need for a short stay.

Modern flat with great views, had everything we needed. Bathroom floor in en-suite had some dirty marks and there was a dirty plate in the dishwasher but the rest was clean. Beds were reasonably comfy. I didn’t see any staff but good communication for check in and check out. I thought it was good value for money.

Pleasant overnight stay with family.

The flat was clean and new. Nice views. Good space for a family of 4-6.

Although it is well located for access to motorways, the local area is mostly industrial and a bit run down. There is a fair bit of road noise from the nearby motorway with the windows open.

The communication was very good and received messages with detailed instruction. Very easy to get access and to the property without having to meet anyone.

It is not located in the nicest of areas but easily accessible from the motorway.

First rate apartment!!

This place was perfect. My friend and I were lucky enough to be at the last ever Black Sabbath gig and we needed somewhere nice for a couple of nights that was a) easy for the motorway, b) had safe & plentiful parking, c) had handy access into the city for dinner & drinks on Friday, and d) on the train line to Villa Park for the gig on Saturday.. This place ticked all those boxes being just off a motorway junction and a 10-15 minute easy stroll to the local train station (Smethwick Galton Bridge) which services both New Street and Witton (for Villa Park). But it isn't about just ticking boxes for me - I've stayed in 5* hotels with less comfy beds, less fluffy towels, less crisp linen, and less than spotlessly clean than was the case at apartment 805 at The Kaizen!! Nothing in the apartment was 'cheap' which is all too often the case in apartment rentals in my experience. Indeed, it felt as though the owners had furnished to a standard that they would want for themselves! And on top of that, incredibly easy to follow check-in/key/parking/directions were sent by both email and WhatsApp before, during, and the end of our stay. Wonderful and very personal service from the owners. Wonderful all round and worth every penny!!

Great option for West Brom

The apartment itself was nicely decorated, adequately stocked and had lots of room for our family of 5.

Whilst it suited us as we were there for an event at West Brom, the location itself is quite isolated and felt a little unsafe (we were slightly worried about leaving our car in the car park). There was a duplicate of emails from the booking engine and the property which felt a bit much and made for a confusing check in as the code for the box wasn’t the most recent one sent to us.

Lovely apartment

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment, had everything you needed for an overnight stay. All nice and clean and well maintained. Easy instructions to access and car parking was free which is always a bonus. Only recommendation would be for a mirror in the bedroom, that would have been useful. The only reason I didn't give up a top score was due to the loud music being played in the apartment below us. I appreciate this is outside of the owners control nevertheless we had an early start in the morning and it was difficult to rest when the music was loud. We did feed this back though so hopefully it was just a one off situation with other rentals. We would definitely return.

DISGRACEFUL 😡

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH OUR STAY THEY ALLOWED AT LEAST 12 + PEOPLE IN THE APARTMENT NEXT DOOR MEANT FOR 2 PEOPLE PICTURES ENCLOSED TO HAVE A 12st BIRTHDAY PARTY WHICH WENT ON UNTIL AFTER 04:15 WE COULD NOT GET TO SLEEP AND WE HAD TO DRIVE TO WALES A 5 HOUR DRIVE AWAY THAT MORNING AS MY MOTHER HAD PASSED AWAY THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED 😡 MESSAGED THE STAFF BUT NO REPLY 🤔 TILL THIS MORNING NOT YESTERDAY WHEN THEY HAD CLEARLY READ MY MESSAGES 🤔 AMD HAVE OFFERED A 10% OFF OUR NEXT STAY 😡 “ WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN “ REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE STAFF HERE 😡
