The Cuckoo's Retreat - Luxurious home with private garden & jacuzzi

Honestly this place is the absolute Guvnor. Keryn is the absolute most perfect host. She goes out of her way to help but also gives you the privacy that you want. We came down from London for my wife’s 40’s birthday and it was also our anniversary. Keryn set up the place with balloons, my wife’s favourite Prosecco, and a lovely card which we absolutely loved. She is honestly just a lovely lady. So helpful and kind and I’ll tell you this for free, she’s done it up amazing. You can tell she’s put her heart into it and it really shows. From her own designs to the layout, it is top notch. I couldn’t fault anything with it. I would genuinely live there it’s that nice. It’s so private and the layout of the place is unbelievable. If I could give 11/10 I would so I will on this review. It’s an 11/10 manor. I’ve told Keryn I’ll be her new neighbour gladly. Thank you so much Keryn for letting us share such a special weekend at The Cuckoos Retreat. We had such a top time. It was amazing and thank you so much for making it so good. You’re a diamond. Nothing

It was a lovely, well presented and beautifully decorated property in a really peaceful location, even though it is literally a stones throw away from the City of Truro. The amenities were fantastic and we had a gorgeous stay. Keryn the host was great at communicating but not intrusive in any way. Would definitely recommend and would urge anyone to book with the use of the Jacuzzi. Icing on the cake!

Private, luxurious and quirky

The bed creaks a lot. Not a problem for me as I was solo but as a couple…could be interesting

I thought it was nice, bed comfortable, hot tub was a bonus

I didn’t like the fact wasn’t curtains at big window to garden, when it was dark watching tv , it felt to open . No outside lighting which we felt was not at all good. Coming in after dark and using hot tub at night , dark walking across garden. It was clean accept I did find hair and dust in bedside lamp on arrival.
