It is as pictured and more. 1) We were pleasantly surprised to find out that there was a water dispenser for our use throughout the stay (and we could change to a new bottle too after we finished the first one!). 2) The area was rather secluded but it meant that we had a good night sleep away from the main road. The bed was comfy too. 3) The kitchen was big and had numerous appliances for us to use. There is a bakery nearby (Bring Zao) so we went to buy the shokupan, melon pan and croissants and heat them up using the Belmuda toaster. 4) The management also gifted us some coupons which we could use at the nearby sakai cafe, so another added bonus point! 5) we had the option of filling up the stone tub with either real onsen water or just regular water. The Onsen pipe took a while so do plan your soaking in onsen experience ahead! 6) We liked the tatami room too, it was a cool place to hang out other than the living room.

Nothing. Maybe the rather steep staircase but we understand that a typical Japanese house tends to have such staircases. Some people might say the location, as it is located at a rural place. If you’re considering to stay here, you will definitely need to rent a car. Please do as it makes the traveling so much easier (you could explore the bakery, onsen town, kokeshi museum, sakura gardens, fox village and so much more!)
