薪ストーブがあり、薪を2000円で購入すれば利用できる。 食器や調理器具は一通りそろっている。台拭きや食器洗いスポンジも新品が用意されていた。 浴槽で温泉に入れる。
1月は玄関まで十数段ほどの階段が凍っており、簡単に滑ってしまう。旅行かばんを持っての昇降では転ぶ危険がある。実際に滑って尻もちついた。
