My friend and i booked to stay here a few months ago for the 28th of june to the 29th of june for a concert we were going to on the night. i had previously messaged the host to request an earlier check in time and received no reply. So we arrived at the property at the time we were told to check in and then realised we had been given no instructions on how to get in. I was then told by another family staying in this property that the entire place was fully booked by other family’s and we would not be able to get in. I attempted to call the host 15 times and received no answer. i then called customer service and did not get any help. This resulted in us having to spend further expenses on another place to stay despite having already paid for this accommodation. i requested a refund but the host had not accepted it. when i got back home on the 29th i attempted to call the host again to ask for my money back and as soon as i mentioned this property he hung up the phone. TOTAL SCAM. would definitely not recommend paying to stay here.

So I’ve rated poorly due to the fact I never ended up staying at these apartments. I booked last October as we also booked event tickets at Aintree Racecourse and the accommodation was rated really good. I sent a couple of messages about check in time but never got any response. The day before our stay I realised I hadn’t been sent any instructions to get into the apartment. I sent a message to the accommodation and then decided to browse through the reviews. To my horror they were awful, talked about lack of comms, being sent to different apartments and them being dirty etc. I sent a few more messages and also contacted booking.com, the day I was due to arrive I did eventually get through on the phone and was told I should have been sent the key box code automatically (not sure how that would be automated when the code would be changed manually?) Anyway I was told I would be sent the details, I’d already set off on my journey to Liverpool and was getting pretty nervous about potentially having nowhere to stay. Eventually after chasing several more times a message came through at 1pm, we were due to check in at 3pm. Unfortunately the details were for a completely different apartment near Goodison Park! I tried to contact the accommodation again but got no reply! I decided that I would drive to the accommodation and check it out, however on arriving I had nowhere to park, it was a busy road and had double yellow lines, it was also over an hours walk away from Aintree Racecourse when we’d planned on it being 30 minutes from the location of the original booking. This made our minds up that we would need to find alternative accommodation and this wasn’t acceptable.

Room was already occupied got moved to second apartment that was uesd dirty an had been occupied not clean rubbish and beds all slept in requested a refund host agreed then blankd never stayed at this property and didn't respond or give refund.

I was unable to connect to the internet as out of many connections that came up there is nothing stating which one to connect to so I tried 8 then gave up. The owner sent details but I believe it to be incorrect. Having these details on a card in the property or sent via a message on booking.com would have been useful and prevented a lot of time wasting and inconvenience.

I was unable to watch tv as it isn’t set up properly, this was a shame. I spent a considerable amount of time in McDonalds located across the road using their WiFi as there was no response and owner was unresponsive.
The water in the bathroom is Luke warm so had to boils the kettle numerous times to warm the water. This appears to be an on going problem as seen this previously in the reviews
I had thought I had secured an apartment with a double bed but instead I was given an apartment with two single beds in it. The bed was comfortable but took a lot of getting used to
