Quirky appartment with everything we needed for a short stay. Excellent location, and friendly owner, would definitely stay again!

Lovely clean room with some nice interactive artwork and a little fridge to keep my food fresh. The shower was also super powerful and the room overall had a nice smell of cleaning products. I particularly enjoyed the night light feature which also played music on a low volume to help me sleep. The chap who owns the house was also very friendly and chatty and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Camden :)

The heating was turned up very high and was on all night. I couldn’t work out how to reduce it or turn it off.

This is the definitive cyber themed 90's squat experience. No expense was spared in delivering the impression that no expense was spared. The stairs were broken and wobbly, the bed propped up on boards, the windows guarded by ants, the floor appropriately sticky and the lighting designed to shock. A working shower might be considered inauthentic but this one did at least drain into the "wet room", essentially a concrete floor with a floating pontoon to access the toilet. It was hard to tell where the water drained to seeing as it didn't go anywhere for some hours after use (bring your wellingtons). It was a really nice touch to paint over the mould around the toilet and in the shower with colourful blue and green paint. This added a really nice crunchy texture that did not go unnoticed, even when under water. I was slightly surprised to discover that the fridge worked, especially given the lack of any internal shelving, but it is the perfect place to chill your trainers. I was pleased to see that no one had bothered with anything as pointless as a kettle, I'm a "yesterday's flat lager for breakfast" kind of guy anyway. For the £90 paid it would have been nice to have had a few treats added in, but the kind gentlemen hanging around in the street outside will be more than happy to help in this regard. I would love to be able to say that I caught athletes foot and chlamydia during my stay but I had these when I arrived and possibly left them as a nice surprise for future guests.

The apparently working smoke-alarm detracted from an otherwise convincing experience, hence the 9/10 rather than a full 10/10 score

The room in the photos was a lot more spacious. The actual room was super small. And tight. Especially the bathroom. It's loud. But that's to be expected on Camden High St.
