Overall I would book again for the value of the money and only for short stays

It was close to everything, very convenient. It’s good if you’re not planning to stay at the property all day, the space is small so good for quick rest, change of clothes etc.

The sink in our room had a funny smell after each use

Overall it was good, but some details in the building and room literally drove me crazy.

The space was big for two people, the furniture was new and clean.

It was a bit far from everything we wanted to do, but it’s easy enough to get Gojek or Grab. Some designs in the building and in the room were super confusing. For example, the elevator shows 3rd floor but all the numbers for rooms started with 4XX. The shower head holder was low (about waist height), but the hook for towers was extremely high. I personally don’t like these kinds of inconsiderate designs.

Clean, spacious, but noisy.

Walkable to main street. Near restaurants, cafes, convenience stores. Room is clean, spacious, modern. Staff are friendly. Comes with laundry service.

Noisy. In the day, loud construction sounds within and outside the building. At night, dogs barking. These happened throughout my stay. Next, the walls and doors are not sound proof. I can hear neighbours showering and talking (which means other can likely hear you talk too).

My month long stay was memorable and sweet.

The location was central to Canggu and is walking distance to bars, clubs, and restaurants. Despite the property being central it was quiet. The service and the staff were super helpful. In fact, one of the most memorable experiences in my month long stay was that they came to my room, with cupcakes singing happy birthday (I passed my bday in Bali). They didnt need to do it but it was very sweet of the staff to do it.

I cant come up with any cons for my stay. Id like to return.

Tilting blinds from wood did not make it dark but it was still kinda bright in the room For us a no go: when you walk bare foot on the floor of the apartment, your feet will be black. We booked the apartment so our 9 months old baby has space to crawl, but the floor was sticky and she had black feets constantly afterwards. Our feets were also.black as soon as we walk a bit inside. Housekeeping was cleaning the floor several times while we were there, but the floor was still sticky and caused black color on our skin. For us it seemed as if the floor is dissolving and the the color from the tiles stick on the skin (see pictures of our feet). Although the communication via WhatsApp was always very fast with the reception, they always said the housekeeping can clean again. We think they have not realized or did not want to openly agree, that there is a general problem with the floor. If you wear slippers inside, it should not be a problem. We would not go there again as a family with a little kid.

Great stay, nice place, clean, good location.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Aviator Hotel in Bali! The property feels fresh and modern, with a newer design that really stands out compared to many other hotels in the area. My room was spacious, beautifully kept, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. One of my favorite details was the lush greenery surrounding the property. The pretty foliage gave the whole place a serene, tropical vibe. Good staff.

The street it’s on isn’t the best.

Overall a great stay — the hotel is clean, in a convenient location, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. That said,

Great location with lots of beautiful cafes nearby and a shopping street, big living space with proper kitchen and a separate bedroom. Lots of sunlight in the balcony. Appreciate the ceiling fan in the bedroom cos I don’t enjoy sleeping with the AC.

Living and dining area is dark at night even with the lights turned on as most of the lights in the room are ambient lights. The fan kept getting short circuited. The lights on the fan will turn on suddenly or off while I was sleeping. Disturbing my sleep a few times but only for one night

A quiet gem in busy canggu

Very welcoming, great location but quiet, very comfortable beds. Overall really enjoyed it :) they even helped me out to retrieve my phone that feel out of my bag in a grab

Good stay, the dust gave me very swollen eyes though.

- the staff are really friendly and do what they can to sort out any issues (they got my insect spray for the room and an electric bug killer) - it is a good size room - kitchen facilities is great - the bed was comfortable - the view from the room was nice (of a garden)

- I got a really bad allergic reaction with my eye - it turned out to be the fan which was dusty. It gave me REALLY puffy eyes, the staff were attentive to it but for a new building it's strange to be so dusty - there is loud construction in the day and barking dogs (fortunately not at night though!!)

The rooms are huge, the location is extremely convenient and the staff are really friendly. I had everything I needed and was especially impressed by the strength of the hairdryer. I would stay here again, it was great value for money, spacious and comfortable. I appreciate having a kitchen and an overhead fan.

When my room was 'cleaned' it was obvious the floor was not swept and/or mopped at all and it was clear that a dirty cloth had been used to wipe the toilet as the brown water was still there... Plus there were a few hairs in my bed when I arrived. When I told the front desk staff however, they promptly corrected the issue and I had to issues outside of that.

Aviator Bali is a new and moder hotel, close to the sea and center of Canguu. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you. Facilities are extremely clean and they do good cleaning every day.

You can go with your eyes closed

The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was quiet, which made the stay relaxing. The room was spacious, and having an elevator is a real plus — especially for Canggu. Honestly, that was great.

The window blind in the room didn’t block the light at all. As soon as the sun came up, the light would shine straight through the curtains and blinds, making it hard to sleep in.

Great location, clean rooms, no noise, great employees!

Location is EXCELLENT! Right in the heart of Canggu… only walking distance to Milk & Madu, Shady Pig, Margaret restaurant… but in a quiet street off main road- so no noise! Also no construction either (as of May 2025). Rooms are good size, clean and very comfortable beds. Good lighting in shower also (the women will understand this 😌). And the people working there extremely friendly, genuine and caring! I went there after an extremely bad experience with M4YA hotel (extremely noisy location, mould in room it smelt like sewage- dont go there!!!)… and the manager at Aviator saw how upset and exhausted I was and simply upgraded my room out of his caring nature. Not many hotels will do that!

The street at night is a little dark if you are walking. But its safe enough around here not to worry. You will just need to use your phone torch.

The hotel was good, especially for the price. We stayed in a ground floor room — it was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The location was very convenient, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

There were a few downsides to our stay. There was a noticeable chemical smell in the room, almost like chlorine, which was a bit unpleasant. The soundproofing could be better — we could hear noise from neighboring rooms. Although the kitchenette was a nice addition, there was no dish soap provided. While the room seemed generally clean, for a relatively new place, the shower had some buildup and we noticed a few stray hairs in the bathroom, which was disappointing.

You can trust the quality of the hotel

The interior is modern and new, I personally like the design, with great attention to detail. From the bed to the toilet to every appliance, everything is thoughtfully selected and high quality. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They provide kitchen even for a standard room! I feel this is a great place to stay long.

I wasn’t sure how to close the curtains properly, and even when they were shut, morning light still came through. The soundproofing wasn’t great either. Next time, I’ll definitely bring an eye mask and earplugs.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. My room was extremely dirty, and it seemed like they had just finished renovations, as there was white dust everywhere. The bathroom was unclean, and I found ants crawling all over my laptop throughout my entire stay. I complained, and while they cleaned the room and brought some fresh fruit—which was very kind—the room still wasn't as clean as I would have expected. The white dust from the renovations remained on the floor.

Beau séjour

Les chambres spacieuses, tres confortables il y a tout ce qu’il faut. C’est devient vite un chez toi 😊 (j’ai séjourné 3 semaines) Une belle decoration L’emplacement est super Le personnel (de la reception) est tres serviable, et gentil.

Le seul truc c’est le bruit que font les housekeepers, des rires et des cris… des jeunes qui sont entrain de s’amuser. Mais des fois c’est embêtant et dérangeant.

Calme et confort.

Établissement très propre située dans une impasse au calme. A 20min à pieds du Fins club et de la plage. Très proche du centre ville en grab si on ne veut pas marcher. Restaurants et cafés assez proches. Personnel très sympathique et réactif. Des guest ont commencé à faire du bruit à 5h du matin (musique à fond) un message au staff de l’hôtel qui a été très réactif pour faire cesser le bruit.

Des constructions sont en cours juste à côté ce qui engendre du bruit le matin. Les vénitiennes sont très dures à fermer.
