The Cabin at Rocklee Grove

The cabin was so well arranged and very comfy! We stayed when the climate was still a little warm so didn't need to use heating or cooling (however there is an aircon & fireplace) but the fire pit at night was nice and added to the ambience. The cabin is tucked away and very peaceful with lots of lovely wildlife. You definitely are best to have a car as it is about 15-20km away from cafes/wineries/restaurants however we did not mind as we were wanting a quiet getaway. Deone was very helpful and checkin was simple. She had left some snacks and some fresh sourdough that she had baked, I'm mostly gluten-free but we tried it anyway, delish! I would highly recommend this cabin for a couple of nights stay if you want your own slice of country paradise!

Honestly apart from the freezer being a bit blocked up (Deone brought us ice anyway) I cannot think of anything, it was just perfect!

Freshly baked bread and milk was a lovely touch. Having a fire pit with chairs made for us sitting under the stars chatting for about 5-6 hours. Was such a lovely stay. The wallabies right at our door step Was super cute too.

Beautiful little cabin situated in the quietness of the bush. We were surprised with a homemade loaf of sourdough bread, olive oil from their property with a selection of jams and milk for our morning coffee!

We loved the outlook of the trees and animals, however would have loved the option for some extra privacy or a sleep in with curtains in the bedrooms. The bed was a little firmer than we are use to and would have loved a full length mirror.
