Second home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Nottingham and were very impressed from the moment we arrived. The house is not only tastefully and comfortably furnished, but also very spacious and pleasant. It has everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. We particularly liked the lovely garden, the very well-equipped kitchen and the two bedrooms upstairs. The rooms were clean, well maintained and welcoming, which made us feel at home straight away. Having a parking space directly in front of the house was also extremely convenient. Communication with the landlord was always friendly and straightforward. He responded very quickly to all our questions and enquiries, which we greatly appreciated. We were especially touched by the thoughtful little welcoming gestures: there was already some water, milk and even a beer waiting for us in the fridge. This was a lovely surprise after our arrival. The location of the house is excellent as well. Nottingham city centre is only a few minutes’ walk away, so we could leave the car parked in front of the house and explore the city on foot. There is also a bus route very close by, making it easy to use public transport if needed. All in all, we had a fantastic and very relaxing stay. We felt extremely comfortable in the house and would be very happy to rent it again at any time. We highly recommend it!

Plenty of space, nice & clean, big fridge/freezer, Kitchen well stocked with utensils, location very convenient, great to have a parking spot, good pressure & temperature from shower. Easy to get keys.

Personally I found the mattresses to be far too soft so not the most comfortable and would have been better if the blind in the 2nd bedroom blocked the light better.

Lovely quiet cul-de-sac and driveway for parking was very helpful! Lovely finish to the home, great facilities on ground floor and bathrooms. Quiet and comfortable overall, just what we needed!

Quite stuffy upstairs, only one small fan to share between 3 sleepers in 3 rooms. Beds were a little soft but comfortable overall.

Good location, quiet residential area. Short walk to bus stop to get into city. Property was cosy, clean, lots of equipment in kitchen, bedding and towels, also shampoo etc in bathroom. Nice to be able to sit in garden. Didn't see host, but communication was good, and easier to get into property.

Would have been handy to have an information pack. Found local petting farm and local Lidl by accident - both good selling points. Garden could do with tidying up. Property was good, with a little TLC, it could be excellent
