Welcome to Edgewater Escape, a secluded, family-friendly getaway perfect for your next vacation. Situated at the end of the road, this 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath lakefront chalet offers both privacy and space to explore. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, Edgewater Escape has something for everyone.
Step outside to enjoy a variety of outdoor amenities, including a private dock offering stunning views of Grendal Lake, paddle boat, and fishing boat. Lounge in the double hammock or swinging nest chair, or unwind in the eight-person hot tub. An outdoor shower is available for a refreshing rinse after a day on the lake. As evening falls, gather around the outdoor firepit for s'mores—we've even provided marshmallow roasting sticks for your convenience. If you're in the mood for grilling, the three-burner gas grill on the deck is ready for your cookout. For those who love to hike, the Grendel Trailhead is just across the street, so don't forget your boots!
Inside, the chalet is bright and inviting, with a light-filled living area that offers beautiful lake views. The main level features a well-stocked kitchen, a dining area, and a spacious living room with a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for cozy nights in. Sliding doors open directly onto the deck, where you'll find additional seating and the hot tub. This floor also includes two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and another with a double bed, as well as a full bathroom.
Upstairs, the second floor features a private bedroom with a queen bed and a second full bathroom. The loft area includes a twin-over-full bunk bed, with a curtain that can be closed for added privacy. The chalet is Wi-Fi equipped and offers entertainment options, including a 43-inch Smart TV in the main living area and a 15-inch TV with an Amazon Firestick in the master bedroom. Families traveling with little ones will appreciate the baby monitor, sound machines, and high chair available for guest use. For water activities, we provide adult, child, and toddler-size life jackets to ensure everyone stays safe.

Strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $25 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.
Any stay greater than 21 days will require an additional long term cleaning fee of $50 that will be MANUALLY charged after reservation confirmation.

Stayed for a long weekend to recover from a traumatic family loss. Severe cold caused the drains to freeze in the home and water backed up into the kitchen floor while we were cooking dinner. After about 2 hours of frantic calls back and forth with the on call property manager and the maintenance man, we determined the property was not functional, as we could not use the bathrooms or kitchen sink. We packed up at about 10:30 at night in the pitch dark, below freezing weather and drove all the way home. We were promptly refunded our money for the nights we did not use. It was a shame, as this was the 3rd time we have stayed at the property and it has always been a positive experience in the past.
