This lakeside home nicknamed "Sisu" is an ode to our Finnish heritage and the grit and resilience that often describes northern Michiganders.
The home is both cozy and spacious with 4 bedrooms including 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 1 bunk bed. There is a full-sized kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, new high speed fiber internet, a TV available to login to your favorite streaming services, and the primary bedroom has an extra coffee pot to get a cup of Joe before the kids wake up. This property is perfect for a fun, relaxing Upper Peninsula getaway, a stone's throw to the State Harbor, and a short drive to numerous outdoor adventures waiting to be explored. It's also a great place to enjoy staying in while you enjoy stunning lake sunrises, take a lovely swim, read a book listening to waves, fish off the harbor docks, or rent a kayak and paddle the Cedar River or Lake Michigan. Cutest little beach house on Lake Michigan in Cedar River. Clean and comfortable, and most importantly it’s quiet & calm for a great little unplugged getaway. The only sounds are the birds and the beach. This is my second summer weekend getaway here. Hope to return in the future!

It was a wonderful pleasure to see this stunning place in Michigan. The home was spotless, and Bridgette was just a text away. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

This was the perfect spot for our family! We have children aged 3, 4, and 11 and all had a blast at the beach that was just feet away. The sleeping accommodations were great for all ages, offering everyone their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals which made packing easier. We GREATLY appreciated the laundry available (especially with the kids). The host was extremely responsive prior to and during our trip. We would love to stay again in the future.
