Ivy Tyrone -Gas heated Pool Stunning renovation

Perfect place to stay for a special family celebration. All we could have wanted was provided. A quiet location with easy access to all of the peninsulas best. The best dog friendly accommodation Ive stayed in also.

I wanted to start off by saying how impressed I was with the guidebook I received from Ben upon booking this property, which contained a wealth of information on what to do in the local area. Whilst we're Melburnians and have travelled and stayed in the area in the past, the extensive list contained places we hadn't visited. This would absolutely be extra helpful to those who aren't familiar with Rye and the surrounding areas. The check-in process was super simple, and the house...wow! It's a beautiful home, and I wanted to emphasise "home" because that's what it felt like, with what I imagine to be deep consideration for every interior finishing, decor and the thoughtfulness of what was supplied for guests. In other properties I've stayed in, you'd be lucky to have a full set of cutlery, a spare dish sponge or enough toilet paper, but not this home. This was on another level; multiples of everything you could ever need, particularly in the kitchen. We loved the extra little elements: the record player, board games, books, additional small living area to chill out, read and watch TV, the modern style sunken lounge room with a super cute reading nook by the window, another TV and a real fireplace. A gas-heated outdoor pool. Tick. Weber BBQ. Tick. Bath with bath salts. Tick. Extra pillows, extra cushions, extra blankets. Tick. This was a much-needed getaway with my best friends, and this was the perfect house to be in. I can only imagine how nice it'd be to stay here during summer!

There aren't any curtains/blinds in the back living area, but I think this is by design, as neighbours can't see in at all. Bedrooms have curtains. So, not a big deal, just something to expect if you're not used to this.

The property "Ivy Tyrone" was lovely, and it met our high expectations, considering we only saw pictures when it was advertised. The heated pool was fantastic and certainly exceeded our expectations & it maintained excellent temperature control. The gas-heated pool was a significant factor in choosing the property, along with the four bedrooms and the ability to bring animals on holiday with us. All linen was supplied, along with sufficient kitchen supplies to see us through the Easter break. Communications with Ben Roe before & during our stay were also fantastic; any questions were quickly answered. We would highly recommend Ivy Tyrone to future holidaymakers wishing to stay in Rye.
