Holiday Home at Combe Haven, St Leonards, Hastings

The pleasant location of the caravan on the site, near to the lower walking entrance was very convenient for local shops, takeaway restaurants and access to the beach. Furthermore very close to the beautiful Coombe Valley nature reserve. Beautiful views across this area, lots if bird song, wild flowers and butterflies. We saw swans, ducks, dragonflies, fish and plenty of other pond life in the little river. The caravan was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for 2 people or more if required. The grounds on site were lovely with plenty of trees and flowers and kept tidy

We chose not to use the site facilities such as the swimming pools as the booking system didn't suit our needs.

A hook in bathroom for clothes or towel.

The accommodatie was werkelijk super schoon. Alles was netjes onderhouden en alles was aanwezig. We zaten aan een prima stuk van het park, rustig gelegen onderaan de heuvel. Ramen konden overal open en de douche was ook fijn. Contact met de hoste was ook fijn en duidelijk.

Voor ons een 1e keer in een mobile home en dat was even wennen. De bedden waren zeker comfortabel om in te slapen, maar wat aan de krappe kant voor ons als 2 rugslapers. Niet iets om je druk over te maken, wij zijn daar wat kritisch in.

There was nothing wrong with the property, however the fact it’s on Haven Holidays grounds we assumed it wouldn’t be a problem to book some of the activities. The problem is that these are booked weeks in advance and as someone booking via private host we didn’t get the opportunity. By the time we’ve arrived everything was booked up and my 3 active kids were super disappointed.
