Antira Private Villa Ubud

Good sized rooms and nice calm area

May breakfast should have more option/ Menu selection

I stayed at the Antira Private Villa the first week of July 2025 for 6 days & here is my experience. Location to downtown Ubud

I emailed the property some ? thru Booking.com. Most of those ? were not answered by Yogi (Property manager) even after repeatedly following up. I asked whether there was any noise sources near the villa from construction, dogs, roosters or road noise as is common in Bali, Yogi responded to the effect that most guests find the villa quiet. As it turns out, that was far from the truth. I always translated my messages to Indonesian for Yogi's convenience & to minimize the chance of misunderstandings. When communicating with Yogi it appeared that he didn't have an understanding of how the Booking.com reservation process worked or basic communication skills. Although Yogi made it sound like he was willing to assist us with problems, his actions were lacking. Due to the design of the bathrooms, a portion of ceiling is open resulting in increased geckos, bugs, entry of rain & loss of air conditioning in both the bathroom & connected bedrooms. This incursion of rain damaged the structure & mold might be present. The biggest problem was construction occurring on both sides of the villa our entire stay. The 1st night we arrived at 9PM & there was approx 8 men hanging out within a meter of the entrance to the villa in the darkness drinking & smoking ? This will present safety & security concerns for many travelers. We became aware those same construction workers living onsite due to the loud music they were playing at night & the sound of motorbikes with exhaust leaks driving up & down to the left side of the villa almost all night. There was banging & power tool noise during the day. I suspect the construction on the adjoining villa's will continue until at least Oct 2025. The hot water generally lasted for just 1 shower. Told that the villa would be cleaned daily, but saw no evidence of that.

Beautiful Villa & swimming pool. Very friendly hosts. 3 separate bedrooms that can fit a large family or big group. Freshly cooked breakfast & fruits were provided at the various times that we requested every morning depending on our schedules. Plenty of bottled water provided for the entire stay. The owner also provides professional full body massage for a reasonable price if you are tired or wanting to relax. Daily cleaning services provided and towels are changed every 2nd day.

Property was real nice and relaxing. A lot of space with the 3 seperate huts for the rooms. Nice open living room. They sorted us breakfast every morning and would clean up after us. Really as Mart nearby where you can buy all the essentials.

It’s comfortable to stay and we have spacious toilet and bath in the master bedroom.

There’s no parking space, we brought mom with us senior and wheelchair user. We arrived around 3am in the morning and it’s pouring. We been dropped off far away from the villa with narrow road . A bit scary as the lighting is not too bright with the wheelchair one mistakes will fall on both sides of the narrowed road .

We had a perfect two-night stay at this villa in Ubud. The value for money is excellent, and the place is peaceful and well-maintained. The staff was lovely — always smiling and attentive. A special thanks to the owner, Yogi, who was incredibly helpful and responsive from start to finish. I highly recommend this place and would happily come back!

The staff was really polite and helpful. They even arranged vehicles for us on a very short notice. The place was clean and close to nature.
