Spacious Room by Medical District & UIC

The location was very nice and safe. It was very close to one bus and a brief walk to two others. I also used the Blue Line El, which was a comfortable walk from the house and a short ride to downtown. Very close to Douglass Park, which is large and pleasant, especially in the summer heat. The kitchen had more than the usual appliances available for use, and it was very clean. I also discovered the Bloomingdale Trail on this trip to Chicago, which is a relatively short bus ride away.

My only problem was where to take my trash on final check-out day. Not that I had much, but still....

So many facilities included and very spacious! Staff was so helpful!

Location was okay only 10/15 away from the cta trains and buses are right outside the accommodation, however supermarkets are not in walking distance!

Got my own room. Very comfortable. Not too far from public transportation.

I woke up at 4:30am one morning to the sound of ACTUAL GUNFIRE!!! There is no soundproofing whatsoever. Too much stairs and too many locks to deal with making getting in & out the hotel a long ordeal (but that many locks is necessary with how dangerous this area is). Next time, I’ll stay at a hotel or even a hostel where I don’t have to worry about getting shot.
