I had a great stay at Sahan's, everyone was lovely and I was greeted with a fresh cold juice and information about how to visit the sites. I rented a bike which was super convenient, the location was ideal - right by restaurants and shops and very close to the lake and the museum to start my visit of the ancient city. If I'm ever back I will be sure to stay here again. Breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable.

Excellent stay, rooms are simple but spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location close to the ancient city and lots of restaurants and minimarts. I arranged a bike through them to explore which was perfect and in good condition. The host and the rest of staff are super friendly, and they helped get me to Sigiriya using their own tuk tuk. Everything was a very fair price. Plus they have very cute dog. Thank you!
Be aware it is close to the main road so you may get some traffic noise, but it is not too bad

The manager was so helpful. He provided a bike for me to cycle around the old city, helped with directions and suggestions of activties to do, and took me to the bus station on my final morning. He made sure I was on the correct bus and that I knew where to hop off. The breakfast was amazing. Plentiful and delicious. The location is so convenient, just a few hundred metres from the ticketing office and a very short bike ride to the city. Lots of great cafes and places to eat close by.
