Great value accommodation in Polonnaruwa. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful. We rented two bikes to explore the ancient city and the location could not be better - a three minute ride from the ticket office. Highly-recommended!
Breakfast perhaps a little pricey.

The friendliness and the food were amazing. Our host was delightful and looked after us providing a wonderful dinner and breakfast. Very nice view over the ricefields.
Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room.

A really lovely view of the paddy fields from the accommodation and the location was great for cycling into the old ruins. Also was really helpful that you can hire their bikes. The staff were really generous and accommodating and offered breakfast and dinner, which was great! The dinner was some of the best Sri Lankan food we ate, and it was lovely to have an authentic home cooked meal. Spacious rooms which was nice to come back to.
As breakfast and dinner was an additional cost it wouldve been helpful if this was advertised as an offer on the accommodation listing, just so that it is known that this is available and what the cost is.
