Lasts minute lodge

Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Our host, Veronica and her staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attend to every detail. Veronica arranged transportation from the Kilimanjaro airport. Meals were delicious. Veronica’s crepes were the bomb! We had an amazing stay! Thank you!

Everything was wonderful. Great value for the money. Veronica and her staff looked after all our needs including transportation from the airport. Accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. Meals were delicious, especially Veronica’s crepes. Although we only stayed two nights we felt like family rather than tourists passing through.

In the first room given to me, the electric shower gave little electric shocks - The staff moved me to a new room but didn't seem to be bothered by the issue with the shower. Power also went out a couple of times, although as I understand this is not unusual in Tanzania. Very high 7% charge to pay by card; much higher than any other place I stayed in Tanzania. Taxi provided isn't included, nor is the cost of this service transparent in communication with the lodge who only stated that transport is provided (driver tried to ask for 20$ - I understand that airport transport is always usually high, but for a 15 minute drive with 1 passenger, this seems like a lot).
