Mkoani Homestay

This is a great place to stay just outside of the center of Moshi. Darlie, the owner, was great and always available for any questions or concerns. I had dinner there every night and it was great and very affordable. There's a great view of Kilimanjaro where my family was hiking at the time. And Rolex, the dog, is a real sweetheart. I'd definitely stay there again. Clean, comfortable and affordable.

No negatives.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay! The room was beautiful, spotless, very comfortable and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly warm, kind and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was amazing and made my stay feel very special. I really appreciated the hospitality, the attention to detail and how well I was taken care of. It was honestly one of the nicest places I stayed during my trip, and I would come back without hesitation!

Nothing at all. I genuinely loved my stay and couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Really good location for pre/post Kilimanjaro, safe and comfortable

There were a few small things wrong with the room - door didn’t lock, window didn’t lock, toiletries hadn’t been refilled. But nothing major

Such a beautiful place to stay. The facilities are amazing and the family is even more amazing. They made me feel welcome from the very moment I arrived and couldn’t do enough for me during my short two night stay. I wanted to go and see Moshi and they helped me get there and got me a guide to show me around. On the same evening they invited me to join them for karaoke, I joined them and we had a great night. If you are looking for somewhere to stay then look no further than the Mkoani’s you won’t be disappointed.
