A large, historic New Orleans home in a prime location (WalkScore 93!), with all the comforts of home and the makings of an authentic New Orleans experience. A kid-friendly, light-filled sanctuary on a quiet side street in a wonderful part of Uptown New Orleans.
Original details include 11 foot tall ceilings, heart of pine wood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Front and back porches, balconies, open-plan gourmet kitchen, and landscaped backyard. Fully renovated but still with all its original character.
4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathroom (two tubs, two showers) plus Living Room, TV Room, Library, and Laundry Room with Washer / Dryer.
Master bedroom has a King sized bed with Tempurpedic mattress, large ensuite bathroom (with walk-in marble shower and soaking tub) and side balcony.
The kids bedroom has a king-sized bed plus "secret fort" and front balcony.
The "office" has a Queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom.
The "meditation room" has a pull-out couch with Queen sized mattress and front balcony.
Relax on warm evenings in our private back yard with its covered porch, comfortable seating, ceiling fans, the scent of jasmine in the air, and a fun climbing gym for the kids.
The kitchen has been fully remodeled including new cabinets, modern upscale commercial appliances, and marble countertops.

Our block is tucked between vibrant Magazine Street and historic St. Charles Avenue. The St Charles streetcar stops just four blocks away, and will take you down to the French Quarter (Vieux Carre) or towards Audubon Park and the Audubon Zoo. Buses run along Magazine (three blocks away) and Napoleon Avenue (one block away).
