About this house rental
Welcome to our private little house unit, with a 2min easy walk to stunning big Sheridan Beach (Stop 1)! Perfect for a quick getaway.
Central location! We have a parking space to beat the beach crowds. Short ride to S. Shore train stop (another fun option to get here). We are within walking distance of 2 parks, city zoo & lighthouse, casino, marina/public beach, restaurants, & bars. Indiana Dunes Nat'l Park nearby.
We have a hypoallergenic space (no pets). This is a 3-room standalone unit within a house. The larger house is not rented out; second floor is reserved for our family use. Guests have the only rental space on site, nice and quiet.
Full amenities including one dedicated parking space (additional parking available on street), deck, washer and dryer, and kitchen stocked with essentials. Private entry and patio with grill.
Plenty of beach equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, one kayak, cooler, big water matt- you don't have to bring a thing, just show up!
The home has just undergone a recent full renovation. Wifi on site. Bathtub/ shower, with an additional outdoor shower to wash off sand. There is keypad access for the door so you can come and go. 110 volt Chademo EV charger available.

Great location! Perfect for a simple vacation relaxing at the beach and enjoying the town. Clean and comfortable. Would love to stay again on another visit.

We wanted a quick get away before the arrival of our first child. This was the perfect place for a quick stay, so close to the beach with everything you could need. It was also within minutes of restaurants, shopping centers, and other amenities. Communication was very kind and helpful with the host.

My husband and I took our baby daughter to the beach for a getaway, and this was a perfect little apartment for us. Comfortable bed, hot shower and a coffee pot with complimentary coffee was lovely. They’ve built an awesome outdoor shower to clean off after going to the beach, and all the beach equipment you could want. The location of the house is walkable to the beach, the zoo, restaurants and breweries. Great communication from the host. Overall a very cute and clean place to stay with all the amenities you would want in a vacation rental.
