Our stay was brief so we really didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked. It is rural and quiet which was a welcome experience versus the busy city life in Columbus, OH. The home had everything we needed to make our stay accommodating. The owners made exception and allowed us to bring all three of our dogs, which most properties only allow two amongst other restrictions while still advertising as “pet friendly”. Thank you for that!… in regards to the property itself, if I could offer any constructive criticism…. First- There is a flooring threshold transitioning from the mud room to the kitchen that presents a trip hazard which so happened to claim my daughters nachos as a victim during our stay…lolSecond- while the main portion of the property was mowed and kept managed, there doesn’t appear to much “trimming” or weed eating done around the house and immediate area, especially in the dog run and near the house.Third and lastly- both of my Children drove separately, and as with us, arrived after dark. Each of us missed the driveway to the home because of the overgrowth at its entrance. This actually, falls back in line with the trimming and weed eating I mentioned above.Overall the experience was good and my wife said several times that she loved the kitchen! Thanks again for being so accommodating and sharing your property with us.

It was cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Not too far from the lake and restaurants and such. The only complaint I had is a slight smell of pet urine. Other than that very pleasant

Very nice place to stay, very welcoming. If I had to suggest a couple items. Trimming back the bush/tree line in both directions at the foot of the driveway. Retain trash bins for bags of trash or miscellaneous trash worthy items to easily dispose of. Also for those who do not read the book, “slow clearing, please hold to flush” on both toilets. Other than that, this place was wonderful to stay at with my family and close to anything at chautauqua Lake.
