JUST ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE Offers a 10 adults + inquire for details, Family friendly Lake house with a million dollar sunset. Make use of the front deck with beautiful lake views with gas grill and seating for 6 off the spacious front deck , or sit at the large dock with a sandy swimming area or enjoy the outdoor patio with brick fire pit. Fishing is great year round. The master bedroom offers a king bed and guest bedroom has a queen bed, both beds are very comfortable and new. Downstairs we offer a second full bath an three more bedrooms with 2 brand new queen beds .if your hungry our well equipped kitchen with a garland 6 burner stove double oven includes all the comforts of home, including a large refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, and dishwasher. Seating for 6 at the out door front porch and seating for 6 at the indoor kitchen bar also. Only 5 minutes from Peek 'n Peak (Ski, Spa, Golf, Swim, Dine, zip lines , segway tours, putt putt golf and adventure coarse ) 20 minutes from Erie, PA or Jamestown, NY and Chautauqua Institute. We are also located directly on Chautauqua Snowmobile trails maps are available. There are many wineries also located within 10 miles in northeast pa and westfield ny. We also have LOCAL TV, WIFI, NETFLIX HULU, and a library full of dvds to choose from .
The next door findley lake camp ground has 15 miles of hiking right out the back door. We also have RV and tent space for additional family to enjoy. For snowmobilers the snowmobile trail connects directly to a private trail to the house. Cross-country skiers have 15 miles of trails to cross country right out the back door. You can cross country ski or snowmobile directly to Pine Junction.. STRICT PET FEE: WE CHARGE 100.00 REFUNDED DEPOSIT ( THIS COVERS ANY DAMAGE THAT YOUR PET MAY CAUSE) WE ALLOW 2 PETS AT 25.00 A DAY . IF MORE THEN 2 ITS 25.00 PER DAY FOR EXTRAS. We truly enjoyed our stay, along with the tranquil view of the lake. We visited nearby parks on our stay and a few local shops. There is a Dollar General neraby and a small gracery store in driving distance in another direction from the home. The house decor was better than i expected from website photos. The kitchen is really nice and has pretty much everything you may need. We slept comfortably on the king bed and the hosts were responsive when needed.They have canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats available for use on their dock for use, which we did not use. The firpit area looked nice, with views of the lake as well. Thecwaywr pressure upstairs was good, we didnt not use the basement shower to know how the pressure was in the basement living area.Overall, we'd stay there again. It was peaceful for our fall trip.

Paradise is aptly named. The property is beautiful and very well kept. There is everything you could want for enjoying the lake. The cottage has enough room for everyone and is very well equipped with everything you could need to have a wonderful lake vacation. We especially enjoy the Lily Pad, Kayaks and fire pit. And meals on the deck viewing the lake is the best!!

The perfect cottage getaway! Spent most our time outside, the front porch has a great view of the lake. The side has a great fire pit for a group. The dock across the street has easy access to swim. The home itself was quaint and clean. The hosts were great and very helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic area, we were here in April for our sons wedding very quiet with a wonderful lake view. The house is spacious and has a great kitchen, very comfortable beds and nice living areas. We plan to come back inwarmer weather.

Our group was 5 adults, so this property worked well for us. The owners were very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with which we always appreciate. The property is located on Findley Lake which was very nice and the views were great from the front deck and the kitchen area. There are a few things about the property that were not an issue for us, but could potentially be an issue for others. There is a large commercial grade stove/oven in the house that is older and none of the igniters work. Both the part of the oven that works, and the stovetop burners have to be lit manually. We were comfortable using the stove, but not the oven. There was a nice gas grill that we ended up using as an oven. There is no dining area in the house, but the property has a very nice outdoor dining area that we were able to take full advantage of due to nice weather. The stairs going to the basement are non-standard and could be dangerous if not ready for it. The last thing (and I want to reinforce that this was not a problem for us) the road between the house and the lake is a state highway with a fair amount of traffic, including truck traffic. That could present a safety risk for children or dogs. We had a wonderful vacation and appreciated everything this property had to offer.

The great little house accommodated us all and a dog. It was clean and had plenty of amenities. The access to the water and the inclusion of kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe were pleasant surprise. (You should include their availability on your listing). We swam and played in the water for hours. The front porch was a lovely gathering spot to sit and eat and/or chat. And we spent a lot of time there as well. We rented a pontoon and toured the lake and had as blast. Of note: There are mice running around and they're not in the least afraid of people, lol. One sat on the side table of my bed at 2 am and just looked at me while I looked at him. I shooed it away but obviously sleep was hard to return to knowing he was still in the room with us. Fortunately I am not afraid of them and think they're rather cute. Some of the other guests were not as unfazed. One more thing, you need a new stove. We put a big pan of baked ziti in and after 45 minutes it was still cold. The oven did not stay lit even though we heard it ignite initially. We baked it on the grill.

We had a nice stay overall! The house could definitely use some updates and better cleaning. The floating swim pad was completely covered in duck poop our entire stay. Only one of the two ovens worked (the small side) and when trying to cook for 7 people it would have been nice to use the larger side.

First and foremost I want to praise the host. Steve went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had regarding passports that we left at home. He made sure that we could contact the local postmaster and get our documents for the trip we took to Niagra. When we had questions, he replied promptly and was super friendly. The location is awesome as it was close to so many things. Due to the weather (which Steve couldn't control), we only spent one day on Findley Lake; however, we were super close to many activities so we still had an awesome time. Steve's cleaning service needs to step it up though. Perhaps since my family runs a cleaning service, we might be particular; however, clumps of hair were left in the shower - eewww. Most importantly though is the fact that the house was comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe.

The house is charming. Spacious dining areas inside and out. Gorgeous kitchen with the fanciest stove I have ever used. There were a variety of food supplies in the cupboards, nice if you forgot something. The upstairs living room was a nice place to relax together. We had a group of 8 adults and 2 kids (3 and 1 year old) and they had plenty of room to play and have fun. 5 bedrooms were great, allowing people to have their own space. The yard is big, lots of room to run around with the kids. We enjoyed the large fire pit at night, having s’mores, pizza pies and a lot of laughs. Findley Lake is across the street, with a nice dock area and easy access to the water with built in stairs. The water is shallow at shore so our 3yr old nephew could stand and collect seaweed. There is a floating mat which we didn’t use too much (the geese land there overnight and create a mess). Steve and Julie were so helpful and responsive before and during our stay. We had a few adventures (power outage and washing machine issues) but Steve was quick to help out. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property.

The name of the place couldn't have been more accurate: Just Another Day In Paradise. We spent a very nice week together as a family, ages ranging from 3 months to 50. A lot of time was spent outdoors fishing from the dock (recommend worms), sitting by a bon fire (Steve built a very nice first night welcome fire), or taking in the view of the lake from the front porch. We swam a little bit, but the weather was a little too chilly at the end of August to do so every day. Had we been able to make it earlier in the summer, we definitely would have swam more. The house had all the amenities you should need for a week away--we loved the commercial stove and oven! The little town is quaint and cute and has some really unique stores. The only thing we found to be the biggest downfall for our family specifically was the road. The road is very busy and right out front. There are tractor trailers and dump trucks that speed on that road constantly, making it very nerve-wracking with little kids and dogs. Steve said this is something the town board is trying to solve, fingers crossed!

Everything was wonderful. Julie was very communicative. Even after they advised their grill caught fire the day before our trip but went out and immediately purchased a new one so that we would have it for our weekend was impressive. We enjoyed the fire pit, deck and dock to fish off of. As well as the fully stocked kitchen. This house made my husband’s birthday celebration spectacular!
