Herdade do Castanheiro is located just 6 minutes from Lagos and offers peace and quiet in the countryside. Wi-Fi is available. Surrounded by cork oak and olive trees, the house features 3 double beds, a bathroom, and a spacious living room with a sofa, TV, and dining area. It is equipped with a refrigerator, a coffee maker, cutlery, and dishes. The beach is 10 minutes away, and Faro Airport is 88 km away. The expansive grounds invite you to relax in nature.
The accommodation
Our property is approximately 100000 m² in size, and we’re just a stone’s throw from the beautiful town of Lagos and all its beaches, the marina, and much more. Herdade do Castanheiro was once a farm with horses, cows, sheep, and more. We’re surrounded by many very old cork oaks; we have a small plantation of orange trees, as well as fig trees, olive trees, lemon and lime trees, some grapevines, and a variety of other species. Enjoy the tranquility of rural life in the countryside.
So feel free to walk around and enjoy the scenery and nature.
We have a covered barbecue area that you can use outdoors under a parasol.
Currently, we have a lovely family of cows grazing on our land. Please enjoy watching them, but respect them and always keep your distance.
