About this house rental
Cozy cottage with attached guest cottage in lovely Skäppevik where you can enjoy a fantastic sea view. You live in an idyllic, scenic environment with the sea right next door and can take a trip down to the sea in just your bathrobe to enjoy a morning swim down by the jetty with a bathing ladder or at the charming little sandy beach if desired. The perfect place to experience nature's spectacle across Kalmar Sound with Öland on the horizon and the island of Garpen with its beautiful lighthouse. You have two glazed conservatories equipped with infrared heating where you can enjoy well into the evening. The one with a magical view. In the living room there is a dining area and armchairs to lean back in. Here there is a simpler kitchen part with a kitchenette equipped with a bench stove, two hotplates and a fridge/freezer. There is plenty of equipment for cooking and crockery. Water is not in the kitchen area, but in the house's separate washroom. In the main house there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is also a pull-out bed under the bed if needed. There is a smaller walk-through room with sliding doors where there is a built-in bunk bed with junior beds that are 180 cm long. If more beds are needed, there is a simpler small guest house on the plot with two bunk beds. Toilet with sink, wc and shower of a slightly simpler standard. In the garden there is outdoor furniture made of plastic, a couple of sun loungers and a barbecue grill. In the pleasant cottage area there is a summer restaurant, kiosk, mini golf course, playground, football goal, barbecue area and large swimming area. The nearest town is Bergkvara (4.6 km), where there are more restaurants, a grocery store and a paddling hall. Skäppevik is perfectly located for various excursion destinations if desired. You are close to the sun and the windy island of Öland for sun and swimming as well as Öland's zoo. Kristianopel, 16 km away, is a small town well worth a visit with its small shops, restaurants and popular cafes. Kalmar offers attractions such as Kalmar Castle and the Kalmar County Museum. Skälby farm with fun playgrounds and close contact with the farm's animals is usually a popular excursion destination for families with children. The world heritage military town of Karlskrona has a lot to offer. 11 km to Möre golf club for those interested in golf.
