2273 Shipwatch is a second floor stunning 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom oceanside villa located in the heart of Kiawah Island’s West Beach neighborhood. This Shipwatch villa offers ocean views from the private deck as well as convenient access to the beach and the island’s top attractions.
The living area is flooded with natural light and ocean views from the floor-to-ceiling windows and glass door leading to the private deck. The comfortable sofa seating offers the perfect place to sit back and relax to watch the waves or your favorite show on the flat screen TV. Sit out on the private deck for morning coffee or afternoon reading with a view.
Just off the living area is a designated dining space with seating for four as well as a full kitchen with high-end appliances and everything you need to make a meal right from home.
The primary bedroom offers a King size bed, convenient access to the private deck with stunning ocean views, and plenty of closet space. The full bathroom is located just off the bedroom, offering a shower/tub combination.
A convenient sofa sleeper is located in the living area.
Shipwatch Villas are luxury rentals located on the beach in the heart of West Beach Village. West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island’s main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah’s oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe. There are laundry facilities available on each floor and an elevator in the building for guest convenience.
You’re an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island’s world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.
Pool Access: Please note this property has NO resort pool access.
Beach Access: Enjoy beach access directly from the building via Boardwalks 5 and 6.
Pet Policy: This property does not allow pets.
Parking: There is parking for up to 2 cars.
Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

This property offers beautiful views! We enjoyed listening to the ocean, the deer came right up under the balcony and even had her baby with her! It is centrally located, just a very short walk out to the beach, and short drive into the Freshfields Village for dining and shopping.The inside of the condo was a bit run down. The sofa and chair in the family room were uncomfortable and the couch was stained. The kitchen table chairs only had 2 of 4 cushions, and one of the chairs was unstable, the light was burnt out over the table. There wasn't a working light in the oven. The refrigerator is very old. It is showing some rust and doesn't work well. We checked in, loaded frozen items in the freezer, came back 2 hours later and everything was ruined. We did call maintenance and they came the next day. It never worked well the entire time we were there. The bathroom really needs some TLC!! The exhaust fan does not work, and the paint is chipping off the walls very badly!! A ceiling fan in the bedroom would be helpful as it gets warm in there. The balcony furniture needs to be more comfortable seeing as that is where most of your time is spent when you are there. The beautiful views, beach access, and convenient location are what you are paying for here and it is worth every penny!!! However, it would be nice if the inside was given some extra attention and updates were made to make it more comfortable when you are inside.

The beautiful view and proximity to the ocean were the best things about the rental! We had a wonderful time on the island. Very peaceful.

Great location and beautiful view of the ocean. Clean apartment with all the necessities. We didn't cook but easily could have if we wanted. Very relaxing and would come again.
