Riad mazighen

Once in a lifetime in El Jadida, I wanted to explore La Cité Portugaise, of course. So I chose Riad Mazighen, located in the heart of the Cité. This not-so-small Riad is the perfect option among the surprisingly large choice of accomodation in El Jadida. The Riad has a wonderful interior decoration, immaculate rooms and very friendly service. And not to forget, unbeatable prices. Very close to the Riad you can explore all sights or take a break at lovely Café do Mar or restaurant La Portugaise. A few steps outside the city walls there are plenty of options to spend your money (and thus, support the local people!) on tasty dates, fresh biscuits, spices or a fish dinner fresh from the ocean. I stayed at Riad Mazighen in early February and in my room there was no heating, which was no problem as I just could use the additional thick, soft blankets. Breakfast was served in another house couple of steps away, just a proper morning walk. It was fresh and delicious and the service was super nice. To all my fellow travellers: IF there is a small pot for TIPS, please tip generously!! Do not forget that the guys in Morocco are working very hard for the happiness of their customers.

Chambre petite mais suffisante pour une soirée étape. Joliment décorée.

La TV ne fonctionnait pas et les WC sont presque dans la douche, mais on ne peut pas pousser les murs... Je trouve le rapport qualité/prix élevé.

La proximité et facilité pour se garer

Salle de bain trop petite avec douche au dessus des toilettes et le ménage laissait à désirer.
