The location was fantastic with great mountain views. I loved the fact that it was tucked away from the main road but still easy to find and good parking. Host (Derry) was very helpful. I will definitely come again and would recommend it to couples or lone travellers.

I really cannot find any fault with the property. It was toasty warm, the shower was perfect, for once there were loads of mirrors, good lighting and plenty of electric sockets.

Brilliant stay at The Kilpipe Snug 10/10

We had a brilliant stay at The Kilpipe Snug whilst we attended a wedding at the Ballybeg venue which was near by. Our hosts Derry and Marie were very accommodating and even gave us a lift to the venue on the wedding day which was very kind. The Snug itself is very well equipped, clean and cosy located conveniently between two small villages Tinahely and Aughrim with amazing views of the hillside. I would definitely recommend a stay the The Snug if you are thinking of adventuring out of the Dublin area and visiting the Wicklow Mountains and surrounding areas, we would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

Fab fab fab

The accommodation location was fab and being autumn the views were.grest but even better seeing the host of birds feeding throughout the day. The bathroom was fab as was al the accommodation. A welcome of fresh milk , butter was a really lovely touch. The hosts were excellent and nothing too much trouble . Warm welcoming, we will be back.

A lamp.in the lounge area would be welcomed so as bot to have the 'big' lights on in the evening.

Great property for some R&R and being close to Glendalough was a bonus

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the area, just a couple of small changes would have made it excellent

Very peaceful location , comfortable bed (4ft 6) excellent shower . Good correspondence with owner and good directions and a friendly welcome and a nice welcome of butter, milk etc

We hadn’t realised that the shower room/wc is on the ground floor and the main light switch for the ground floor is in the middle of the room not close to the stairs so not so easy in the middle of the night to make your way down the stairs, find the light to get to the bathroom. No electric socket near a mirror in the bedroom which would be useful when using electric hairdryer etc

Lovely appartment in quiet surroundings.

The apartment is indeed in a rural area, but ideal for day trips around wicklow or to the coast / seaside. Our host gave us all details regarding directions, getting the key to access the appartment, etc. in advance, so we had no problems finding our way around. The appartment is as described, spotlessly clean, and we found the bed to be comfortable. The heating was on and the evenings were quiet. Parking directly in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Finding the way there might be a bit of a challenge, so navigation via google maps or similar strongly recommended.

Top Ausstattung und Lage

Die Ausstattung ist top. Alles was man braucht und mit viel Platz. Zusätzlich war Butter und Milch im Kühlschrank, und ein Gutschein für den Bäcker. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Es ist sehr ruhig und ein guter Standort für Wanderungen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

An unserem ersten Tag hat die Sonne den ganzen Tag geschienen, so des im Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach sehr warm war. Aber mit einer Stunde offenen Fenster und Tür war dies kein Problem mehr.
