The accommodation is within walking distance from the city center, as long as the weather isn’t too cold. Access is very straightforward, and the host is extremely kind and helpful. The place is very well-equipped and beautifully clean, with a comfortable warmth throughout the house.

This is not the host’s fault, but there were a few activity suggestions left on the table, which we also chose from. Anyone planning a Northern Lights tour should definitely do their research beforehand to avoid feeling disappointed. There are reliable (Finnish) companies that guarantee a 100% refund and take the Northern Lights hunt seriously. Unfortunately, a bad experience shaped our time in Rovaniemi, which was otherwise very enjoyable. We eventually found a trustworthy company, but only after unnecessary expense and frustration.

The accommodation was fantastic, clean, warm and everything needed was available. Just a short walk from the town centre of around 10 minutes.

Hosts were very kind, they gave us a kids sledge to use while we were there. The accomodation very clean and with everything you need, warm and cozy, even a lighted Christmas tree outside the house. Parking space available.
