Rimaye Blanche - A bright and cozy 1 bed apartment

First, it is important to know that although the apartment is named Rimaye Blanche, a part of Chamonix “Resort”, this is not a resort….it is a cute little apartment in an older house. There is a nice view of Mont Blanc from the window.

It is close to town, but renters need to be aware that it is a quarter mile up a steep hill from town center, so if you have significant luggage, that could be a problem. The shower set up is very challenging for anyone over five feet tall. Super small shower with a sloped ceiling. The drainage of both the tub and the bathroom sink was incredibly slow and would become backed up. The company who rents these “resort” units around town, are very insistent on getting payment ahead of time for city tax and deposit through other methods, not through booking.com. It was all on the up and up, but did feel intrusive and a bit aggressive.

Rustige ligging. Mooi zicht. Goed bed. Leuke en comfortabele meubels. Voldoende uitgeruste keuken. Aparte parkeerplaats.

De badkamer was niet functioneel en slecht ingedeeld. Het was onmogelijk om op een comfortabele manier te douchen of een bad te nemen. Je hoort elke voetstap van het appartement erboven en dat verstoort de rust en de slaap.
