Waikiki City View at the Ilikai, Close to Beach

Had a great stay a this place, it’s a great location and has many facilities and shops down in the lobby. the room was very clean and comfortable, and had great views. would come again

This property has a great location with really nice views. You can literally be on the beach in 5 minutes. There are even shops and restaurants located in the building. It is overlooking a main thoroughfare, but you’re high enough up to lose most of the noise. The security is good and the main lobby area is well kept. The elevator is a little slow and can get busy, but it is a big place. There is no check-in, so we just went to the room and entered the code, which worked great. The instructions for the lock were good and it worked perfectly. The unit was in immaculate shape. It really had everything we needed from extra towels to cooking oils and spices, to a nice, smart TV. The location was amazing with the ocean very close, shopping across the street and Waikiki Beach an easy walk away. The property does not include parking and the valet service here was the worst. They are very slow and VERY expensive. We ended up parking a block away by Red Lobster in a nice, quiet lot that was very well kept, cheaper and an easy stroll away. The living space had two beds, a sofa, a chair and a desk beneath the TV. It was a little tight, but very comfortable. The kitchen is separated by a bar and the appliances were modern with nice features and worked flawlessly. The dishes, pans, silverware and glasses were nice and there were more than enough. The wi-fi worked well and stayed connected. The A/C worked great and kept the room very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and well lit with a very nice shower. The beds and linens were very comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. I would most definitely stay here again on my next visit!

This unit was fantastic! It would have gotten a 10 rating from me if it wasn’t for the front entrance. It is extremely difficult to check-in or check-out. The parking in the driveway is mayhem. There are cars everywhere and it can take 10-15 minutes to exit because of the busyness. The problem is the lack of a luggage cart and ramp. There are stairs at the front and you have to haul your bags up the stairs or walk 100 feet out of the way for an elevator. My wife and I were on a 3 week vacation and had stopped at the grocery on the way here so we had a load. We had several trips to make, but the strict parking rules require you to stay with your car. I ended up carrying the luggage and groceries up the stairs to the lobby and leaving them with my wife. I made several trips, all with the car in sight. After parking the car, I met my wife, and then carried the goods up to the unit making several trips until we could both manage the rest. There was a broken escalator, but they don’t allow luggage on it, so that wouldn’t have helped. Check-out was just as bad, minus the groceries.

Breakfast was not included , however location was awesome ! !

Bathroom doors were dirty & blankets had old wet smell.

It was very clean, had everything we needed including a cool bag/ esky and chairs with umbrella to use at the beach which we thought was a great idea

The pool area on the ground floor, it was very underwhelming not much atmosphere no music no bar and too many DO NOT DO’s
