About this apartment rental
As soon as you open the door you will be blown away by gorgeous and unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Ala Wai Marina and City of Honolulu, Ala Moana Beach and majestic mountains. This elegant residence is located next to the corner unit in the most desirable and expensive stack of the building. Best place to watch July 4th Fireworks at the comfort of your own private balcony! Ilikai is an iconic building located next to Hawaiian Hilton Village and many Waikiki attractions and restaurants.
Ocean view studio has a king size bed with memory foam mattress, two night stands, custom design lighting and ceiling fan. Big closet offers lots of extra drawers and shelves to fit all your belongings.
Enjoy your full kitchen with complete sets of cookware and dishwasher.
Huge lanai (120 sq ft) has a dining table and seats 4 people for a nice family breakfast or a romantic dinner with beautiful unobstructed sunset views while enjoying nice ocean breeze.
New luxury vinyl floor throughout the bedroom and living room with modern and very comfortable sofa sleeper and stylish coffee table creates an ambient and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful and easy to use queen size sleeper sofa comfortably sleeps two extra people. Split AC throughout the condo will cool you off after you come from the beach.
The bathroom features ceramic tiles throughout the shower walls and floors, recessed lighting and tasteful custom design cabinet and fixtures. This suite also is equipped with a 32 inches flat screen TV, free wireless internet, split ac and ceramic tiles throughout the entire lanai.
The Ilikai is an iconic building and you will fall in love with this hotel as soon as you enter open air lobby that features waterfalls, beautiful trees, fire torches that are lid up every night and many seating areas to enjoy beautiful ocean or sunset. There is an Aroma Coffee Shop, famous Cinnamon's Restaurant, grocery store and many other small shops in the lobby of the Ilikai.
Guests will be able to enjoy two separate pools on the property. Friday night Hula show and Aloha Friday fireworks at Hilton Hawaiian Village just next door.
Guests will be provided with property manager's and assistant's phone numbers in case they need any assistance throughout their stay in Hawaii.
Honolulu is synonymous with the worldwide fame of Waikiki Beach. Known for its white sand beaches, clear water and ideal surfing conditions, Waikiki Beach is a popular destination for locals and holidaymakers alike. The beach is accessed publically in many locations and is comprised of eight sections. Surfing, swimming, sand combing or relaxing in the sun – Waikiki Beach has it all!
Ilikai Building is in a prime location next to Hawaiian Hilton Village and few minutes’ walk to Ala Moana shopping center, Waikiki strip and many restaurant, beaches and attractions. Many of our guests choose not to get a car since everything is located just few steps away and Uber and taxi services are available 24 hours. There is a bus stop as well as Biki (new bike sharing services throughout Honolulu) station just outside of Ilikai Building.
If you decide to make a trip around the Island there are many rental car agencies located in Waikiki and Advantage Car Rental Company is located at the lobby of Ilikai.
If you choose to rent your own car there are few parking options:
1. Public paid parking on the ocean side of the building (currently $1/hour)
2. Valet parking is $28/day with in and out privileges
3. Self-parking at Ilikai Marina Building next door is $20/day with in and out privileges

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all Ilikai condos and balconies. Smoking inside of the unit or balcony will result in a loss of security deposit.
AC
We kindly ask to turn off AC when you are not at home. Please close balcony doors when you are using AC.
Internet
The Internet username and password are written on the modem (black box with a white sticker in front of it). If you have any issues connecting please make sure you entered correct username and password. If you still are having problems connecting please reboot the modem by unplugging from the outlet for 2 minutes first and then plugging it back.
Trash Disposal and Washer and Dryer
Trash chute and coin operated washer and dryer are located on the same floor next to elevators.

Overall we had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed the lanai. We are a family of 5 so it was cozy, but we made it work.There were some cleanliness issues (I have very high standards) so in retrospect they really weren’t that bad at all (not sure the floors were cleaned prior to our arrival).We loved the folding mattress for the kids to sleep on, the bed was comfortable, great access to the neighboring lagoon and the lobby entertained the kids for quite a while if we needed to get out.The lobby stores were convenient, the ice cream shop was delicious and the unit had all the cooking utensils, plates, cups, coffee maker, etc that anyone would need :)Thank you so much for having us- we would return!
