The Hive - Jungle at Misty Mountain Reserve

Wow. Arrival at Misty Mountain in the Mist was very cool with the rough sound of the ocean and jungle full of birds - then waking up in the morning and seeing the sea was beautiful. Compliments to the Staff, so kind and they really prepared a beautiful breakfast, from the coffee to the home made Cupcakes, possibly ‘the best breakfast’ we had in our 3 weeks Garden route trip.

We where lucky to have a last minute booking, we would not be so happy if we paid the full amount vs what you get back, the other reviews will tell the story. Are you really looking for a luxury, full facilitating stay? And are not a adventurous person… don’t stay here (;

The Hive bei Regen etwas undicht .

The view , the uniqueness of the hive .

Upon checking in in November I was not given the hive I had booked in January ! The duty manager immediately blamed booking.com for the mixup only to later come up to me ant dinner and advise they had infact had a system error and it was their mistake . This was very poor. customer service and I was extremely disappointed to have not stayed in the hive I had booked . Monique and Breyton were fabulous and their positive attitudes and friendly demeanours turned our negative experience around completely , they should be running Misty Mountain without a doubt !
