The Stargazing Cube - Misty Mountain Reserve

Everything The receptionist was friendly,The food was delicious but mostly my accommodation was out of this world. The view was amazing and the stuff were cool and I made friends with our lovely dog

I liked everything about the accomodation

Looking for a place where the forest meets the sea? Look no further, this is the place to be. From the moment we walked in at the reception we were welcomed like royalty. A gentleman called Rhino took our bags on a go-cart to our cube and gave us another one we could drive ourselves. The cube was extremely clean, total total privacy. There's no noise. A proper orientation of the room was done(how to operate the gas stove, sleep slider, aircon, etc) The room gives you a view of the sea, you are surrounded by green trees. When it rains you get to see rain drops on the transparent roof. There's a TV that's connects to Netflix/YouTube. When it rains it's only for a few minutes and then boom, clear skies, you get to watch the stars as you're lying on the bed. There's the chill net guys, if relaxing is for you, you'll love it. The shower water was extremely hot, the outside bathtub water was also extremely hot, there's electric blankets on each side of the bed, the aircon heated the room so I didn't even feel that it is winter. There's a restaurant and a bar to enjoy there. If you prefer self catering that's also doable as there's a fridge to store your left overs. Nights were magical at the stargazing cube (watching over the lightning lighting up the sea and trees at night). We also got to ride quad bikes available at the premises at an extra cost and stopped somewhere to get a clear view of the Indian Ocean. Oh, the only thing you need to look out for is monkeys that may take your food if left outside unattended but they didn't bother me at all. Thank you so much Misty Mountain Reserve for making our stay a novelty ❤️. I wouldn't trade that experience for a million rands. I wish you success in your business.

Alles was perfect

The spa was wonderful – very relaxing and professional. The surrounding nature was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the close location to the national park and activities like canopy tours and kayaking. The staff were super friendly and always helpful.

What we didn’t like: the accommodation has quite a few gaps and isn’t completely closed, so insects, spiders, and other small creatures can easily get into the room and it got really cold at night. This should have been mentioned more clearly in the description.
