Vila Toska Berat

We loved staying at Vila Toska! This was such a highlight for us. Berat is a beautiful and peaceful place & our hosts were just as beautiful. The view from our room was stunning and it is situated quite centrally. We stayed close to the castle (albeit a steep walk to there), as well as close to the old town (a steep walk back), but it’s the perfect way to explore the place! Breakfast was definitely a highlight, a lovely spread and even fruit from garden. They are the sweetest people as well! They really went above and beyond & we are so grateful. We will definitely be back at Vila Toska one day, 10/10 recommend!

Sur la colline à mi-chemin entre le château de Berat et les quartiers de Mangalem et Gorica, belle chambre très bien entretenue idéalement placé pour visiter Berat et la région. Le vrai plus de cette location est l'accueil très chaleureux d'Elida et d'Agron, qui font tous leur possible pour que votre séjour soit le plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner est idéal, produits du jardin d'Agron ou de produits locaux, cuisinés par Elida. Merci à tous les 2 pour ce séjour.

Les hôtes sont trop mimis, et nous ont fait sentir bien. Hyper disponibles et très souriants. Tout est propre et on a une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Le gros point fort c’est le petit dej avec des produis locaux et délicieux. Goni voulait que les invités mangent bien, ce qui est très attentionné de sa part.

La route est un peu compliquée et si vous avez une voiture qui vous permet pas de descendre les chemins il faudra vous garer plus loin’

Vila Toska Berat was absolutely sensational! From the perfect location, overlooking the town, with a short walk down the hill to shops & bars or a walk uphill to the castle & the bazaar. The owners couldn’t do anymore for us! They met us in the town to direct us to them, due to local roadworks. They provided their own kettle to us when we needed to heat water for our young son & the breakfast….something delivered with complete passion. Homemade plum jam & plum juice, eggs from the owners chickens provided with lots more deliciously baked traditional items. The room itself had a stunning view from the balcony, was spotlessly clean, had air conditioning, a tv & all the other amenities you’d expect. It’s such a shame that we’d only stumbled on Avila Toska & could only stay for 1 night, as it was utterly perfect for us.

There wasn’t anything at all that we disliked! Even the lack of WiFi wasn’t a problem as we always had 5G reception. A beautifully tranquil place to stay, even with a young & very energetic young child!
