Charming Asheville cottage available for monthly+ stays. Conveniently located off of Merrimon Avenue in North Asheville, the cottage is in a lovely quiet neighborhood within very close proximity to the Grove Park Inn, Beaver Lake, and UNC-Asheville, and just 2 miles to downtown Asheville.
With a minimum booking of 28 days, this cottage could be the perfect launch pad for someone who is considering moving to the area, or for those who can work remotely and are looking for a change of scenery, or perhaps as a short-term rental if you're remodeling your own local home. Longer term school-year rentals are also possible for visiting faculty.
There are two large bedrooms with queen-sized beds (with new memory foam mattresses), plus a third flex space with a twin sized day bed and trundle, and small desk.
There are two bathrooms, one in the hallway and the other attached to the rear bedroom, both with shower over tub combinations.
The kitchen appliances are all recently updated, and include a fridge, oven/range, and dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer and all of the essentials, such as linens and towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies are provided.
The home is nearly a hundred years old, so is not the place for you if you are looking for something pristine and brand new, but has been lovingly updated throughout and the pictures are current and accurate. It is newly listed on VRBO but we are experienced hosts and look forward to welcoming you!
