Wellba Boutique Hotel

Amazing house located in a small village, very calm. Qualitative breakfast. Nice staff.

Clean, comfy bed, nice little kitchenette, hosts were helpful and responsive, and great location.

No air conditioning. A fan and screens on the window were somewhat helpful, but bugs could still get in through the screens. Room got uncomfortably warm.

We stayed at Wellba for 2 nights in the Youth Suite. The goal was to find a space where we could relax and recharge our batteries for a couple of days whilst travelling across Europe by motorcycle. The suite was clean, spacious and very comfortable with a lovely shower, sauna (not that we needed it in 30 degree heat) and a lovely sofa to relax on. Outside space was quiet and interrupted only by some construction work which was happening next to the hotel. Honestly, we didn’t find it particularly intrusive and the team stopped at a sensible time which meant our evenings were quiet and relaxed. Breakfast was offered at €12/d/person, but we self catered as the shared kitchen had all the essentials for us to use. A supermarket is only 5m drive away as are several dining options if you want them. We used the washing machine to freshen up gear for the next leg of the journey, which was a very reasonable €2 per load, with detergent and softener provided. The staff were lovely but as a small team, were often busy about the property preparing for guests. We saw only a handful of other guests during our stay, which suited us perfectly.

If travelling by motorcycle, be aware that the parking is gravel, loose in places, but stable enough on the whole. Cars will have no issues. One minor quibble - it would have been great to have a small shelf in the bathroom to keep essentials on during the stay.
