Switha - Luxury home in Stromness, Orkney with outstanding views and hot tub

Getting the keys was as easy as reading my emails, and using the code that had been sent. There was a book of directions and plenty of QR codes to scan when we needed more info. Location was great, neighbors were friendly, and it was nice to use the fully kitted-out kitchen to cook dinner each night! I was able to travel with my small dog, and so was my daughter. Our hosts even left a little doggie gift bag to make their stay comfortable. The furniture was comfy, and the house loaded with board games to play. The hot tub was a huge hit and used every night. I can't say enough about this place, and our lovely hosts. If I'm ever back in Orkney, Switha is where I will stay.

The kitchen had nice supplies and some staples for cooking - very helpful. The house was comfortable, the views delightful. It was easy to get to from Stromness. The common rooms are thoughtfully furnished, and having the binoculars was a nice touch. Good quantity of well placed outlets!

There really is nothing that we didn't like.

Nice bathrooms with excellent showers. Comfortable beds. Lovely kitchen fully kitted out. Incredible views from the upstairs living room across to Hoy - spectacular. The hot tub also made the stay feel very luxurious. Would definitely recommend others to stay here - the price is justified.
