The bedrooms.

The rooms have a bit of mould. Especially the bathroom, bedroom windows and ceiling.
There was no sugar and milk upon arrival.
There are no signs that warn us of neighbours with pets. My kids are frightened of dogs and we had one dog run straight to us.

We stayed as a family of four, husband and wife with two boys aged 5 and 9 years old. The self-contained/self-catering unit met most of our expectations. The unit is spacious and perfect for a short week or two getaway!
The size of the lounge, dining room and kitchen is perfect. Also, very nice to have our own patio/braai area which we made use of. The parking bay for the unit is decent. The kids room is perfectly adequate for two young boys.
It is about a 15 or so minute walk to the beach from the complex to Thompson's beach, which was not a problem for our kids. I think Willard's beach is about 30 or so minutes walk away.
We had friends staying in another unit in the complex, and our kids absolutely loved being able to wake up in the morning and visit their friends.
The kids made use of the children's facilities here and there and made friends with other kids also using them.
Our kids enjoyed seeing the monkey's regularly in an around our unit and the complex!
A few points which would have made our stay slightly better are as follows:
- Better size/quality towels;
- No washing machine and therefore we couldn't do any washing;
- A door that closes on the shower, to prevent the floor from always getting wet;
- Main bedroom bed is a size queen (for reference);
- A flatscreen TV in the main bedroom mounted to the wall would have been an added bonus.
